The truck I rented was an embarrassment to your fleet! The truck was so loud that I couldn't hear myself think while in the cab. It also pulled severely to the right as I was driving driving down the road. Very disappointing!Jerry L.

The interior of the truck could have been cleaner. Not well swept, lots of coffee or other dark liquid spills, cup holders/dash were gritty (like loose tobacco in them).Barry F.

Sal was helpful and on time. The reservation was first thing in the morning. He was kind and professional.. However, this is not the U-Haul site I requested. I received a call from a UHaul agent the Thursday before stating that the pick-up site for the truck was 1 1/2 hours away in another state. So, not only did I have to travel 3 hours round trip the morning the movers were packing my things into the truck, but I pay for gas for my personal car and UHaul for the extra miles. I will not use the U-Haul car-share option or Uhaul again. The employee in the store was great, however, the U-Haul's systems added anxiety to my move.Jennifer R.

You switched my location 2 times, it added a ton of stress to an already stressful time. The lady at the schererville location though was amazing and super helpful I can't remember her name I hope you can find her and give her some noticeBrandon P.
Worst truck rental experience EVER. I needed a truck for a local charity event that my band was playing. I was going to have the truck pick up friday morning drop of Sunday morning. Originally I reserved a 10ft truck cost $20 bucks a day. X3 Should of been $60.....lol I WISH! So a I get a call that the 10ft truck is unavailable and that they would have to give me a larger truck but it would still cost me $60.... So I show up to pick up the truck there was a huge one and a slightly smaller truck. I asked the guy if I could use the slightly smaller one because my stuff would be sliding all over the place. He said it wasn't possible because that truck was reserved. Ok I guess no big deal I would just have to be extra careful loading then came time for the total.... $99 and some change WHAT? I thought this was going to be $60....Well I needed the truck this for a charity event... So ok I guess.... I go ahead and agree to basically$100 charge. So I go attend the charity event and drop the truck off promptly on Sunday morning..... Here's the kicker they then charge me an additional $67.... So a truck I though would cost me $60 has now basically cost me just shy of $170.00..... So it gets better.... I call they store to ask about the charges I was disconnected 4x really transferring a call is not that difficult....So I finally get to the manager after they locate him for a bit.... He gives me the excuse of mileage....ok so $.99 a mile and says I put 67 miles or so on it.... Thats what the charge was for on 5/30/21... Wait it gets even better so I question the original charge and the fact it was suppose to be charged at the 10ft truck rate.... He told me it was but they estimated the miles and that was the difference.... So if this is just a horrible marketing strategy by U-HAUL to mislead people with ADVERTISING and back charge them $.99 a mile... I according to my math am still owed back around $28. Lets do simple math..... If I truly was charge $20x3 days = $60 and If the estimated miles by the store employee were 39 miles (My original total charged of $99) and I put 67 miles on the truck per the store. That would be 67(total miles) - 39 (previously estimated by the store employee) ($.99) = $28. I would NEVER recommend TRUE VALUE in ROSELAWN INDIANA to ANYONE EVER and depending on the outcome maybe U-Haul as well!Mitchell C.

There were no moving blankets and dollys when I arrived after reserving them. I had to buy an ice scraper from true value to scrape the snow and ice off the truck. I even let someone else use it to clean off their truck.Mike G.

Ben was nice and helpful, but both floors (cabin and storage compartment) could have been cleaner. It doesn't take much to wash floor mats or mop storage's floor. The worst though was AC not working, which I reported to Ben immediately after I started rolling from Roselawn. Trust me, it's not fun to drive truck for almost 17 hours w/o AC with 93F outside!Marek S.
