For my need of a vehicle transport trailer, the location and experience was good. Where this review excels is due to Peter at the location. Peter was very easy to work with and there were no problems that came to light at rental time or return. Peter clearly answered any of my questions. Yes, I know it was only a trailer rental but the process was fast and efficient and Peter was receptive and accommodating. Thanks again Peter.

Feedback is for Uhaul system overall. My original reservation was to pick up a one-way at Security Public Storage and they didnt have my trailer as scheduled. So i had to haul the trailer back from S Cal to Roseville. Frudtrating experience overall

We spent 30 minutes uploading a picture, driver's license and waiting to be approved while no one told us we'd still have to go in the store. It was not too far but it is good to provide credit for the extra miles when the company changed the pick up location from reservation. The fuel tank was 2 quarter full and no credit for extra fuel at the time return that not fair or the company should provide full take. It isn't safe to return a truck at the one or two quarter full fuel Please consider for future. Thank you once again.

Marcel S.Worst U-haul experience ever. Person doing hook-up didn't say anything to help me get lined up, he only showed meaningless hand signals. I had to get out of my car to look about 4 times. He hooked up the lights and tested them. At the first stop I checked the lights and none of them were working. I re-plugged everything and got everything but turn signals. When I turned in the trailer I complained about the lights and the guy checked them and said they were fine "must be your vehicle". I checked the connector when I got home with a meter and everything checked good. I have towed 6x12 trailers many times with this Expedition and never had a problem with the lights or anything else.

Matthew P.I didn't rate the maintenance and cleanliness because it was neither clean nor extremely dirty. It was not in the best of shape. Many dents, body parts missing. Yet, I was charged the same price as someone getting a pristine pick-up. I'm extremely disappointed as I've rented from this place before and had a much better experience.

Richard E.I got hosed on the fuel. I drove 29 miles and the gauge said full yet when I refilled it, the van took 6+ gallons! I rented a similar van from another location and got 13 miles per gallon driving almost 100 miles. I told the operator when I retuned it but he did not seem to care and did not address it. Typical Uhaul bullshit

Kathleen Y.The trailer was clean but it has been pretty abused. The ramps expanded metal grates are banged up and smashed in between the supports which make it a bit difficult using the ramp. Other than that it functioned as a trailer should.
Kelly B.The truck was filthy.. the windshield was covered in dust and dirt, causing an unsafe glare while driving towards the sun, and the wiper sprayers wouldn't work.. ( I think the washer fluid reservoir must've been empty) The headlights on the truck were very dim, making the truck unsafe and unusable at night ( we were moving during a heat wave ( ambient temps over 100 degrees during the day) so we had big plans of doing most of our moving after sundown as the temps were lower but couldn't because it wasn't safe to operate the truck much after dark.(the lights were so dim that other motorists were flashing their lights at me thinking I had forgot to turn the lights on) I let the attendant at the Uhaul rental location know of my concerns regarding the headlights. He told me I must not have known how to turn on the lights, and that I could've operated with the high beams on.., really??? I explained to the attendant that I had a professional background of over 25 years of working on light-medium duty trucks , master certified mechanic, and that I was certain it wasn't operator error.. He told me I was wrong, and that he looked at the truck himself after I returned it, and that the lights were fine. I recommended he recheck them after dark before making that determination., he chuckled and told me to have a nice day. Overall, we still completed our move, and got done what we needed done… And, the rental fees were reasonable for a 26' truck. ., I just wish we could've used it more at night.

I moved it in place three to four times, but within a mile or two of driving it would swirl out and was useless. Please fix it as it can be a significant hazard and a cause for an accident. NOT SAFE!!!!

Jade A.Only one person working the yard when I rented the trailer, which was filthy. I had to help the worker in lifting the trailer tongue to place on my hitch. Upon return, there was no one to greet me so I walked inside. They said a guy would come out to take the trailer off but he wasn't able to do it by himself so once again I had to help. They had only one guy in the yard to assist customers, they didn't have the proper equipment to loan/unload trailers, and they had very little product knowledge. Learned my lesson and will not use this place again.

I told them if i know that they was not going to honor the discount i would just have brought the truck back without refueling. after some discussion i got the discount, i don't feel i should have had to argue about that point.

William W.There was a leak in the roof. It rained 2 nights that I had the U-Haul. I did not notice the leaked until I went to pull a table out. The table was given to my father by his late uncle and had been damaged due to the leak. I'm not sure how much the table is worth but it will cost at least a few hundred dollars to get it resurfaced. If u-haul can help out with these costs it would be greatly appreciated.
Terry P.I made a reservation for a truck and a car trailer. I needed a trailer not a dolly as I have a 4wd truck and did not want to drop drive shift for trip. I made reservation online. My initial online reservation showed I reserved a trailer. I had to have reservation representative call me due to out of state/one way trip. I made it clear I needed trailer not dolly. Sometime between initial reservation and pickup my trailer was turned into a car dolly. (Not by me) on pickup I was informed I had a dolly. I explained I reserved a trailer not dolly but was told the trailer he had on site was not allowed out of state. I had no choice but to take dolly instead. The dolly he rented was quite beat up and lost the retention pin on one ramp mid trip. We had to create a fix on the road in the dark to keep ramp from dropping and dragging.

The on-site operator was very quick to resolve that matter and re-rent to me the correct equipment that I needed. Yard staff was very helpful and prompt. I was very grateful for their willingness to except the after hours drop off it made me long day very productive efficient and get me to sleep as soon as possible.
