Jessica HI called this location twice, once 2 days before and once the day before my scheduled pick up. No answer with either call, left messages no call back from them. I called the Mansfield Corperate UHaul location, they did get the Marion location to answer, they told the Marion location to call me, which he did. The guy with the Marion location was very informative and pleasant. He told me that I could pick up the trailer anytime before my scheduled time. I arrived about 1 1/2hrs early, location is very poorly maintained/organized. No one was around to assist me. I decided that I would hook to the trailer and go to the Mansfield location. Just then a van pulled in, a young man got out of the passenger side and asked if he could help me. I told him I had a reservation for the Toy Hauler here. He said I’ll help you hook up, which he did, he then got back in the van and left… When I was doing my pre-trip inspection, I noticed no light cord on the Toy Hauler. I looked around and found what I needed to make the trailer lights work on another trailer… I’ve rented from UHaul several times, never had such a “no concern” type of attitude from a UHaul dealer/rep…..🤷🏽♂️
William SThis is a difficult question because the initial location I had, Curren’s was awful!! I showed up to pick up my rental. It was blocked in. I called U-Haul. They said they would contact the manager who said she was on her way in, did not show up after 40 minutes I called back and was told she would get there when she got there. We were redirected to another location - Route 4 sheds. No one was actually there at 8 o’clock when we arrive for the pick up. A young man actually did help me find the key and everything eventually. However, this location, the vehicle that we received did not function properly. The check fuel fill port light was on the entire time. And the vehicle ran sluggish. Honestly, this is the worst experience I’ve ever had with U-Haul at both locations. I can honestly say I will try to find another truck rental, or just hire a moving service outright moving forward. They caused me delays, and several hundred dollars. I honestly don’t think I would ever use and/or recommend UHaul services of any kind ever again.

Steven JThe only complaint I have is that the U-Haul started at literally 1/16 of gas so instead of being able to just use it and go, I had to immediately put gas in it and then use it and then refill it before returning. It made the whole quick trip I needed to move something longer, so that’s my only complaint. It would’ve been nice to have had more gas to do what I needed and just used the gas station once.

Kari FSuggest a bigger parking lot, when there are multiple pick ups at the same time. Trailer was also dented on the right side, where the ramps slide in and out. Made it difficult to get my car up and over the dent.

JENNIFER GThe trailers were frozen to the ground. Perhaps gravel surface or blacktop would help to park the trailers on.
James SThe trailer did not have a tongue jack on it. I didn't realize how hard this would make it to use. You can't unhook the trailer at all without this. I had a horrible time hooking it back up after it was loaded.

The light connector on my truck did not match the configuration on the trailer, and he lent me an adapter of his own to make the connection. He was very thorough in hitching up the trailer and gave me clear and helpful instructions about driving with it. I would be glad to recommend him to any of my friends who need to rent a truck or trailer.
