Cargo area had odor of dead animal. HVAC fan controller doesn't work right.

JAQUAYA TThe guy when I pick up the truck didn't let me know that there is no dolly even though I made a reservation with the dolly. Also, he didn't let me know there is link to upload the pictures of the truck before taking it. Instead, he said I can just take the truck or return the key. He was very irresponsible and rude. I asked him to make sure there is no charge for a dolly and he said it is not charged but I wanted the verification but he refused to provide me any further information or assistance. I called Uhaul and the representative provided me the link that I supposed to fill in before taking the truck. While I was taking pictures of the truck, the guy came out and asked me why I am taking so many pictures of the truck. I had to let him know that I need to take them according to the uhaul policy. I don't want to recommend this place to my friends if he is going to treat them as he did to me.

PAUL KThis place is fraud. I drive 16 miles in total, and I added 6 dollars gas. Later the guy charged me 50 additional dollars for the gas.

ARIF CGuaranteed equipment was not available. Showed up early and was told had to wait for my equipment to show. When it didn't show was given smaller equipment anyway that smelled of smoke and graffiti in the back of truck
ROBERT HThey didn’t have the 15 foot truck I reserved. The guy sent me to another place a mile away and said they had one. That place was closed. I went back to original place, dealt with a different person, and rented a 10 truck because I had to.
PATRICK ROverall a very positive experience and have used them for many years. Only suggestion is to brake maintenance is accomplished since this truck's steering wheel shook - sometimes violently - when applying brakes down a hill or from highway speeds.
Matthew MWe've used this location multiple times and always satisfied with their customer service and vehicles. The reason I put 'No' for equipment maintenance was after conducting a pre-drive check, I found the engine oil almost empty and tires were each 10psi lower than the required 80psi. This may not be a big deal for some nor would most even think to check those items, but when I'm driving with a heavy load, those items become important for gas mileage and overall safety of the vehicle. In all, I would absolutely rent from this location every time - just be aware of things to check before loading the vehicle.

Raymond HI reserved a 15' truck. But they didn't have it and gave me a 10' truck. I had to move over pay multiple days and pay movers to come twice instead of once. This is a uhaul reservation issue and not the location. I'm very disappointed by uhaul's service.

Verna STruck was a little older than I'm used to renting and took a little longer to switch gears than it should have. Overall I was satisfied with the rental even though the older truck did make me a little uneasy.
MICHAEL MThe drop off was unclear at best. The clerk was the gas station attendant and honestly didn’t make me feel safe leaving the key with him. There was nothing that indicated U-Haul other than the vehicles on the lot.
Nickolaos KThe truck interior was dirty. The back of the truck had some garbage on the floor. Also, I rented from this location twice within two weeks. The first time, I noticed that the fuel guage was almost empty after I'd left the pickup location. So I had to refuel almost immediately. Plus I put in more gas than I used because I don't know how to estimate the amount I was actually going to use and I didn't want to risk running out of fuel. The next time I rented, I asked if they could give me the truck with a full tank, so I know how much to refill. They said no.
Renee SWe dropped off our truck on June 6th as our agreement stated. The attendant said that we were good to go after handing the keys. However they charged us for an additional day and stated we dropped it off on 6/7/2024

Jerry TCheck in was easy and employee was friendly but truck was in awful shape. It was parked on a curb, the cargo area was full of trash, the alignment was so messed up the truck doesnt drive straight. It shook like the tires were going to fall off every time we went over 40mph, and it even shut off and lost power while we were driving.
Brianna MThe only problem I had was the fact I was using the mobile app and it told me to drop the key in the drop box. But there was no drop box. The gas station attendant told me pretty much that he was the drop box.

Dakevis HI usually take pictures of the dash boards to have for proof, however this time I was unable to do so, and I paid for it. This location charged me an additional 100 miles and gas. I only drove 36 miles and fueled back up at their EXXON location. There was service lights on the dash board, that kept me from taking pictures, the truck drove sluggish and since I picked it up after hours I couldn't return for a new at that moment. I contacted the location and got the run around and was given another number, but never received a call back. Ultimately, I had to dispute it with my bank, waiting for the outcome.

REYNALDO RTruck was loud, had no power accelerating, muffler fell off and was dragging the ground, leaking truck left a spot in my driveway. Didn't have any of the add on accessories I requested at time of pickup. Worst moving experience of my life.
Baye MTruck was very dirty. The fuel tank was only 1/4 full and I was charged $15 extra for Safe Move coverage that I never requested for.
Panagiotis ANothing to major I just feel as though I shouldn’t have been charged what I was charged due to the inconvenience of not having the equipment I requested. I was on a time limit and a dolly , & the furniture covers would’ve made things More convenient.

Stephanie CI was moved to drop off at this location instead of my original, and was turned away by the business owner because I had a tow dolly. By this point, I had already unhooked the tow dolly myself and begun the return process on my phone. I was then told on the phone to go to another location which induced an extra mileage charge. This return experience was unacceptable and extremely frustrating.
Bailey VDrop-off was quick and straightforward; at a gas station so the person receiving the truck basically just took the keys and sent an email receipt.

Rachid KThis location only has one individual capable of renting U-Haul equipment - Sonny. I had to speak to him on the cashier's phone. FWIW, Sonny was fine - he found my reservation and got me out the door. His cashier, on the other hand, just bad-mouthed U-Haul constantly the entire time I was in the store. She said that my equipment probably wasn't there, and that she "didn't do U-Haul". A very negative experience for a U-Haul customer. The truck I rented was another matter - it was dirty, there were only 3 moving blankets instead of the 10 I ordered, and no furniture dolly on a day when we were moving heavy furniture. Also, the oil light in the truck was on, and it was a quart low. I added a quart of the recommended oil per the truck engine. I would like a refund for the dolly, the blankets, and the oil.

Jay HTHE SIDE MIRROR ON THE DRIVERS SIDE WAS BROKEN AND SWIVELED FREELY, WHICH IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE. WHEN I POINTED IT OUT TO THE MANAGER, HE SAID HE FORGOT TO TELL ME ABOUT IT. THE TRUCK WAS DIRTY WITH A CURTAIN ROD REMAINING FROM A PRIOR MOVER. I ORDERED 24 MOVING BLANKETS, AND THERE WERE NONE, AND THE EMPLOYEE HANDLING THE RENTAL SAID HE HAD NONE. IF I HAD BEEN INFORMED THAT NONE WERE AVAILABLE, I WOULD HAVE USED ANOTHER UHAUL DEALER. HOW CAN YOU RENT A MOVING TRUCK WITH NO MOVING BLANKETS?? I'VE USED UHAUL SEVERAL TIMES (CALIFORNIA, COLORADO, AND DELAWARE), BUT I DOUBT I WILL USE YOU AGAIN.

fanda cThe van had a bag of trash in it still from the previous user, and the floor was covered in dirt and had wet spots. The miles were calculated wrong for my trip, they added an extra 10 miles because the starting mileage was wrong, so I was overcharged. The check in/out process should be more clear, and the truck should be inspected and the mileage written down between users.

Richard RDriver side view mirror was not working , it spun around or remained facing in the opposite direction when driving. Very dangerous and not able to be adjusted.
