Gas tank was not filled to 7/8ths full. Manager did not provide contract, so we were unaware that 7/8ths was the mandatory fuel level. We therefore returned the truck to the NJ location with an identical amount of gas, but got charged $26.48 when we were told that the fuel level was low. This is our second and time using this location, as we were misinformed or underinformed at every step of the process.

Uahul sent me to their sister location. When i went there, that location could not accept a 15' foot truck.

My original email told me pick up with at A Storage Depot in Elkton, MD. When I arrived they informed me the truck was at a different location. This caused additional miles used being I was informed of the wrong location. This was a terrible inconvenience for me and my family moving on a hot summer day as we had to travel further than what the email stated.

Why was I double charged?

Great experience

This whole experience was horrible. First they switched my pickup location at 8pm the night before my move. So I called in and the guy was able to find me a smaller truck at a closer location so we booked that. Went to that location the following morning and they told me that they didn't have a truck for me because it had a previous reservation so then I sat there for 30 minutes on the phone with uhaul trying to find me another location. Once she found me another location she sent me to the wrong location which in turn I then had to drive back 20 minutes in the opposite direction to the correct location. Then they were suppose to give me the 20 foot truck for the price of the smaller truck because of all the huge headache they caused me. Well that didn't happen either. I was suppose to pick my truck up at 9am and after all the running around in circles I was finally able to get the truck at almost 12. This has been the worse experience !!!!?

I ordered a dolly, and no dolly was available. I had to take an hour of my time and spend $54 to buy one. Supremely annoyed.

Very convenient!

There was no wait. I was in and out in a few minutes despite that it was the end of the month and end of the university school year with students moving out. Sonny was courteous and efficient. I’ll use this location again.

Not the locations fault but the Uhaul system was not working properly and customers had to wait for it to work. Did not get initial preferred pick up place even though when driving by observed trucks on their property. Had to call 1800 uhaul and was given the run around. Initially was called by a place in New Jersey who was trying to cancel my pickup because of holiday. Was not even trying to go to New Jersey since I live and was moving in. DE. Was transferred to a place in Washington D.C. for a truck. Then eventually after an hour and talking to six different people got a truck.

My experience was great. Pick up and drop off were easy. The truck was practically new, with under 1000 miles.

Nothing - quick and easy,

Placed an online reservation 24 hours in advance and when I went to pick up truck, I was told that they didn't have one and I had to wait. Needed it at 9. Didn't receive vehicle until 12. Other than that.. Not to bad. Just a bad experience with one doesn't hurt the entire lineup. I've used them before at other locations and had great success.

Staff was very nice and polite. Truck was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. It had pretzels all over the floor. Gave me a headache to even drive in. Worse was I dropped it off at a place 4 miles from the other uhaul. But since it was PA I was told 2 hours later to take it back to Newark or get charged extra.

Please explain the gas policy and have, in writing, the rough amount of gas that is in the vehicle on pick-up. Also, when a pick-up is reserved online, have the vehicle ready to go and not wedged between other trucks as not everyone is comfortable backing those large trucks out of tight places.

Don’t overcharge the customer for a purchase they did not purchase.

Christine L. on

Charged $1.49/mile and not the $.79/mile advertised online yet only mentioned this after the truck was returned, and gave no indication, receipt, agreement or contract of this prior to taking the truck.

I was charged twice. My account shows we were charged twice

I was emailed the contract right when I was getting into the uhaul and never explained that I was supposed to fill the tank back up to the original level and if it was under 1/4 full I would be charged a fee. This was my first time ever renting a uhaul and did not know of this, nor have enough time to read the contract. I never signed the contract. Disappointed with the service

The service was good and the man who worked at the gas station was fast and efficient.

Have trucks filled with gas and don't have trash in the back

In immense confusion of change of van, moving of cargo, and rush to get home after 15-hour overnight drive, lost paperwork. Your computer system "found" it immediately and thus could submit invoice for reimbursement. Helpful and quick

Clean and service your vehicles your rental locations should have someone dedicated to helping someone checking out and returning equipment not some gas station attendant that has to help your customer while handeling other customers buying gas snacks etc.
