Check in was easy and employee was friendly but truck was in awful shape. It was parked on a curb, the cargo area was full of trash, the alignment was so messed up the truck doesnt drive straight. It shook like the tires were going to fall off every time we went over 40mph, and it even shut off and lost power while we were driving.

The only problem I had was the fact I was using the mobile app and it told me to drop the key in the drop box. But there was no drop box. The gas station attendant told me pretty much that he was the drop box.

I usually take pictures of the dash boards to have for proof, however this time I was unable to do so, and I paid for it. This location charged me an additional 100 miles and gas. I only drove 36 miles and fueled back up at their EXXON location. There was service lights on the dash board, that kept me from taking pictures, the truck drove sluggish and since I picked it up after hours I couldn't return for a new at that moment. I contacted the location and got the run around and was given another number, but never received a call back. Ultimately, I had to dispute it with my bank, waiting for the outcome.

Truck was loud, had no power accelerating, muffler fell off and was dragging the ground, leaking truck left a spot in my driveway. Didn't have any of the add on accessories I requested at time of pickup. Worst moving experience of my life.

Nothing to major I just feel as though I shouldn’t have been charged what I was charged due to the inconvenience of not having the equipment I requested. I was on a time limit and a dolly , & the furniture covers would’ve made things More convenient.

I was moved to drop off at this location instead of my original, and was turned away by the business owner because I had a tow dolly. By this point, I had already unhooked the tow dolly myself and begun the return process on my phone. I was then told on the phone to go to another location which induced an extra mileage charge. This return experience was unacceptable and extremely frustrating.

This location only has one individual capable of renting U-Haul equipment - Sonny. I had to speak to him on the cashier's phone. FWIW, Sonny was fine - he found my reservation and got me out the door. His cashier, on the other hand, just bad-mouthed U-Haul constantly the entire time I was in the store. She said that my equipment probably wasn't there, and that she "didn't do U-Haul". A very negative experience for a U-Haul customer. The truck I rented was another matter - it was dirty, there were only 3 moving blankets instead of the 10 I ordered, and no furniture dolly on a day when we were moving heavy furniture. Also, the oil light in the truck was on, and it was a quart low. I added a quart of the recommended oil per the truck engine. I would like a refund for the dolly, the blankets, and the oil.

THE SIDE MIRROR ON THE DRIVERS SIDE WAS BROKEN AND SWIVELED FREELY, WHICH IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE. WHEN I POINTED IT OUT TO THE MANAGER, HE SAID HE FORGOT TO TELL ME ABOUT IT. THE TRUCK WAS DIRTY WITH A CURTAIN ROD REMAINING FROM A PRIOR MOVER. I ORDERED 24 MOVING BLANKETS, AND THERE WERE NONE, AND THE EMPLOYEE HANDLING THE RENTAL SAID HE HAD NONE. IF I HAD BEEN INFORMED THAT NONE WERE AVAILABLE, I WOULD HAVE USED ANOTHER UHAUL DEALER. HOW CAN YOU RENT A MOVING TRUCK WITH NO MOVING BLANKETS?? I'VE USED UHAUL SEVERAL TIMES (CALIFORNIA, COLORADO, AND DELAWARE), BUT I DOUBT I WILL USE YOU AGAIN.

The van had a bag of trash in it still from the previous user, and the floor was covered in dirt and had wet spots. The miles were calculated wrong for my trip, they added an extra 10 miles because the starting mileage was wrong, so I was overcharged. The check in/out process should be more clear, and the truck should be inspected and the mileage written down between users.

Pickup was easy but return was awful. Didn’t properly check in the vehicle then charged me twice. Both charges were incorrect. Had to argue with the employee to get my money back. Still not completely correct. Will definitely not use this location again.

1. There was trash in the cab from the previous user. 2. I had ordered moving blankets and they were not provided. 3. They put the gas level at 1/2 tank but it only had 3/8 which meant I would have had to put extra gas in for the return.

I would never rent anything from U-haul at all. When I was renting the truck, the customer service person told me that I’ll receive an email for the miles and gas and all. I never did. When I return the truck and filled the gas more than I supposed to and I got charged for the gas. When I spoke to the person when returning he said he doesn’t know anything even though he saw me that I was filling the gas. I called customer service for the charge, I was told that it was too early and I get charger for it. Ridiculous service ever. Would not do business with it.

The cashier who rented me the truck, stole my credit card info and put charged for $47.21 at the store. I did not buy anything at the store. He also did the same last year for $20 when I rented a truck from the same location.

The lady behind the counter was violent and threatened me. She had me stand behind a counter and talk to an agent over the phone. She got mad cause I asked a visiting employee not to stand too close to me because he hovered over me with Tony credit card number and she flipped out calling me racist names and other expletives. I am a corporate account user and disappointed and will no longer spend the company’s money on this company we will research Penske or rider,

It was a horrible experiencing for our family. The truck we requested and reserved 2 weeks ahead of time was not available. We had to get a smaller truck which made our movers length of work longer and cost us more than we anticipated. I would not recommend anyone to rent from UHaul. Not trust worthy.

The online reservation process was pretty straightforward. My first complaint was it didn’t allow you to set a drop off time. When I contacted U-Haul to change it to later in the day, from 9am, there was a $45 charge to do so. My second complaint was when I made the reservation, I didn’t not see anywhere that the reservation would be cancelled if not picked up one hour after the reservation time. I had an emergency and was unable to pick up at the scheduled time, but didn’t think anything of it because I had paid for the reservation. As I was on the way to go get it, I saw I had an email from U-Haul cancelling my reservation. In the email it stated “if you have not requested this change, please call..” so I did. Here’s my third and biggest complaint - in person customer service. The young lady who answered my call was so rude!!! It was as if I inconvenienced HER with my call. Based on the background noise, I’m guessing she was working from home and I interrupted her show. She actually hung up on me after the changes were made for my reservation. It made me happy I was able to do the bulk of the work online.

The van was relatively clean. The pick up location was clean and service excellent. My complaint is with the overwhelming stale cigarette smell in the van especially with the AC running. If u aren’t going to make these vehicles non smoking u really should make renters aware

Terrible. The rental was dirty (full of dirt/debris) and the AC stopped working several times (it was 90 degrees outside). I also ordered a dolly which wasnt there and the lock to the truck in the back was broken so had to use my own old gym lock...terrible 1st time experience. The customer service rep on the phone also initially had my order set up for the wrong time (I asked for 7 am and the email I received was for 4 pm had to call again) then the next person I spoke to had system problems so after repeating a drivers license number several times, wasnt able to update my order. Exhausting time consuming and overall negative experience.

Van inaccessible for 30 minutes. Oil light and low tire pressure lights on. Gas was barely 1/2 full and when I returned it the same way I was charged!!!!! Completely unacceptable, lucky I wasn't stranded. Horrible, horrible, horrible

I am sad to tell that my total experience was very terrible. When I went for pick up at 0600 pm I was told that we have your reservation but we don’t have truck, manager asked me to call customer service center for claiming no show up $50 then I called customer service center and upon the intervention of customer service representative I was provided another truck of different size with the same price. It wasted almost 30 minutes. Later on when we started the truck, it’s sound was weird making too much noise. We told the manager he said we have only this truck. We have no other option. And above all I hardly drove around 15 miles and I am charged for 45 miles.

The truck that I used was very loud and the motor was knocking it sounds like the engine was about to go bad this truck should not be used until it is fixed I need some of my money back please send someone out to check this truck also the air does not work this was a bad day

My experience picking up the truck is beyond acceptable. The woman in the store absolutely lost it when I arrived and asked for a truck. She said I needed to call Sonny. She picked her cell phone from her pocket and called Sonny and then handed me the phone. I had to detail my credit card information in a crowded store with a person on her cell phone. the truck wasn't parked under a tree, it was parked in the tree. The branches were crushed against the windshield and filthy and unsafe to see through after I got it out. There was trash and blankets in the back of the truck. I left the location with no contract and no proof I selected the insurance. The computer used for rentals looked like it was hit with a hammer. How did you let your brand go so far down hill? I should be reimbursed for having to clean the truck and wash it when I got home before taking it on the road.

had to wait 30 min. for the man who knows how to work the system to arrive. he gave me the key and told me go out there and find my truck between 30 trucks. I found it on the grass above a curb. it took me 30 min. to get it out.
