The van had no washer fluid, the wipers were beat up, and the thing pulled pretty hard to the right. It had recently snowed and the snow was melting on the road. Therefore there was a lot of spray being kicked up onto the windshield. I had to stop twice to wash the windshield by hand at a gas station because the visibility was so poor and I couldn't wash the windshield on the go with the fluid and the wipers. I don't know who's responsibility it is since I rented from a Shell station. So I left the recommendation as n/a on the previous question.Jason W.

I was upset that 2 days prior to my pickup I was told I would have to go to this location when I originally wanted the Castle Rock location It was very inconvienent!!! Then told I would not have to pay for mileage and got a free day but the traffic to Littleton was bad nd took up my time!!!I have to move again in a few months I am thinking of looking elsewherecarrie S.

The 800 number needs to stop lying to people the Hudson location that originally had my order should not have been hanging up on me and change my rental reservation to a different location which is over 600 miles round-trip to pick up. The drop off location was a gas/food mart. The person doing the check-in was by herself and could only answer basic questions. She was very courteous and nice, but she couldn't answer my questions about the mileage.Kerry W.
Unrelated to the location, I reserved a truck online and the truck was not available. I was told this, however, this resulted in me having to make multiple trips which were exhausting and unacceptable. I will not rent from Uhaul again.Jessica J.

I was told that the original pickup location (but changed to another because it would not be available when I needed it) would have two mirror extensions available for my SUV The new location had no mirrors available. Horrible customer experience. Upon pick up of the rental truck, snow on the windshield. Had to clean myself the windshield from the snow. Ice on the windshield. Had to clean myself the windshield from the ice. Ice on the rear view mirrors. Had to clean myself the ice from the rear view mirrors. The rear truck gate/door could not be opened because it was full of ice. Had to clean myself rear truck gate/door so I can open the gate/door so I can start loading my stuff. This was a nightmare truck rental. The pick-up location was changed with no notification. Communication was awful. The truck was down sized from our original reservation. I would be hard pressed to recommend renting a U-Haul truck or renting one again. Budget and Penske are more expensive but their attention to detail and customer service are far superior!Kathryn J.

The pick up location was a gas station. The clerk working at the time did not know how to hook up the trailer I rented and had to keep stepping away from my transaction in order to assist other customers coming into the gas station/convenient store. This is clearly not the employee's fault. I am frustrated, though, that an additional (and qualified) U-Haul staff member was not available to help with the transaction and the hook up of the trailer. In the end, I had to drive the trailer (with malfunctioning electrical) to another location to receive the help I needed and verify that everything was connected safely and properly.Greg S.
Bill was incorrect and stated that I owed more money. Girl was busy taking care of customers in gas/food store while also taking care of my problem. Took forever before she was able to get in touch with U-haul because your lines were busy. However, once she got through, the matter was quickly and satisfactorily resolved. The lights on the trailer did not work and we were pulled over by an officer. The gentleman working the rental was very polite and helpful however she did not come out and inspect equipment I'm not sure if he was supposed to.shawn D.
Make sure all employees of that location know how to rent the equipment. The teenagers at the counter had no idea what to do when your system was down. Neither did the lady at the storage facility next door.Matthew G.

This location was at a gas station. Prior to my move, I called the location to confirm that the trailer I reserved was there and ready to go...the has station attendent told me she had no idea what I was talking about, that there was no 6' x 12' trailer available at that time. I of course panicked. After further investigation calling the 800 number, my reservation was in fact there. When I went to pick it up there was only one gas station attendent (who also knew very little about the rental process) so I had to wait for 20 minutes while he helped actual gas station customers. As soon as I got on the road at 55 mph the trailer started fish-tailing badly. Turns out the tire pressures in all 4 tires were wildly different (40, 45, 50, and 55 - although they were supposed to be 65 psi) causing it to be unbalanced.Clair S.

Not enough room to manuscript a truck pulling a car hauler. I couldn't gas the truck because of lack of room. The location is hard to get into with a big truck.John M.
I had a terrible experience here. It is crazy to staff someone at a busy service station and to have them ALSO do the uhaul work. I was very upset that when I parked the truck, the dial was at 1/2, but I was advised that I would be fined if I didn't put more in. It seemed very petty. Then I added more, and I added more and the dial didn't move....it was because at the 1/2 way mark, the indicator doesn't raise until you have the engine on for awhile. I can understand why I forgot that sometimes it takes awhile, but the attendent didn't wait AT ALL. I had very little money left after having to tow my car across country, 735 is A LOT of money - esp unexpected. Me having to over pay in gas - past what I got- seemed especially unfair!!! I also feel that it would have been nice to get something back on the charge because I returned it 3 days early, but that was explained to me when I signed up.heather W.

First the person handling the rental did not give my drivers license back so we wasted 2 hours going back to get it and missed the entry window to the event we travelled to as a result. I'm really pissed about that. Then we were told to move the trailer to the pickup location after we dropped it off at a much closer location and the pickup location told us that was fine but the drop off location told us it was not. We no longer had a vehicle to move it and after hours of driving I was not going to drive another 2 hours to take the trailer to the pickup location. Spent over an hour on the phone trying to get this resolved. Not happy with this at all, it really put a black mark on what was supposed to be a low key relaxing trip.donald M.
I was told I was good to go then sent on a wild goose chase to the middle of nowhere. It took over 2 hours to pick up the trailer after I thought I had already paid and set it up. The girl was very nice but clearly had no idea what was going on. Thankfully they gave us free burritos but I would never rent there again. She also told me I could return it to any uhaul location and that was not true. Thankfully Courtney at the regional office took care of me and allowed me to drop it at another location without fees.john W.

No complaints about this specific location. Everything was satisfactory. However, I am EXTREMELY unhappy about our overall experience. I had "reserved" (or so I thought) a 26 foot truck for our move. I was notified the day prior that the only available 26 foot truck was 60 miles away on the date I "reserved" or 3 days following my "reserved" date or I could rent a 20 foot truck (also not available at the location I had reserved). I had made plans for movers/family members etc. to help with the move so the 3 days following our planned date was not a viable option. Additionally due to the fact that the 26 foot truck was not available we had to also rent a trailer (at our cost) in order to complete the move. I feel U-Haul should have at the least reimbursed us for this cost. I am extremely frustrated with the online reservation system. There should NOT be an option to reserve equipment from a specific location on a specific date if the company cannot complete the request.Cody H.

Payment system wasn't working correctly and asked for 3 different credit cards at pick up and the truck only had 1/4 tank of fuel when we picked it up. The when we returned they put in the system that it had 1/4 of a tank of fuel less than it actual had when we returned it and got charged over $50 in fuel charges. Then we're told that they couldn't change it and said Uhaul was going to make the changes and refund us, we still have not received any refund or changed invoice from Uhaul.Bret U.

Uhaul in general is difficult to deal with. The people at this location are awesome but Uhaul itself is ridiculous!! You advertise a price but then tack on all kinds of crappy fees. To pay $64 to use a van for 3.5 hours that is advertised at $29.95/day is robbery! It wasn't mileage either. Van was driven less than 10 miles. Also, your system is too difficult for everyone to use and it causes major delays at the register. And last? I SO hated this transaction that I went out and bought a used truck rather than be forced to use UHAUL again!Bo F.

There is a discrepancy between the gas that is in the vehicle versus the gas that the app is saying is in there. Fortunately this location was able to work with me to work that out and that made it very good. I did the self check-in and it was a hassle it was pretty involved pretty lengthy I would prefer to have a Uhaul attendant do that for me. I did not do the self-checkoutErnesto D.
I have a concern as to how U-Haul communicates the rate. I was under the impression it was a rate was a daily rate. I am still not sure how the rate works as the rental site was not able to clearly communicate this to me. She said it may be a 6 hour rate, but was not confident in her response. I would have structured my moving day a bit differently had I known how the rate works. U-Haul got a significant amount of money from me as a result of this miscommunication. This makes it hard for me to recommend U-Haul to my peers.Casey P.

I am a long time Uhaul customer. For this rental I received "confirmed and guaranteed" email communication. The day before pick up I received a call stating the trailer I had reserved was let to someone else and I would have to go almost an hour out of my way to get a trailer. If it was not so close to my actual pick up date, I would have made other arrangements. This was ridiculous to make me relocate your equipment. I will never use Uhaul again unless I have no choice.Robert M.
