The van had no washer fluid, the wipers were beat up, and the thing pulled pretty hard to the right. It had recently snowed and the snow was melting on the road. Therefore there was a lot of spray being kicked up onto the windshield. I had to stop twice to wash the windshield by hand at a gas station because the visibility was so poor and I couldn't wash the windshield on the go with the fluid and the wipers. I don't know who's responsibility it is since I rented from a Shell station. So I left the recommendation as n/a on the previous question.Jason W.
I was upset that 2 days prior to my pickup I was told I would have to go to this location when I originally wanted the Castle Rock location It was very inconvienent!!! Then told I would not have to pay for mileage and got a free day but the traffic to Littleton was bad nd took up my time!!!I have to move again in a few months I am thinking of looking elsewherecarrie S.
The 800 number needs to stop lying to people the Hudson location that originally had my order should not have been hanging up on me and change my rental reservation to a different location which is over 600 miles round-trip to pick up. The drop off location was a gas/food mart. The person doing the check-in was by herself and could only answer basic questions. She was very courteous and nice, but she couldn't answer my questions about the mileage.Kerry W.
Unrelated to the location, I reserved a truck online and the truck was not available. I was told this, however, this resulted in me having to make multiple trips which were exhausting and unacceptable. I will not rent from Uhaul again.Jessica J.

Horrible customer experience. Upon pick up of the rental truck, snow on the windshield. Had to clean myself the windshield from the snow. Ice on the windshield. Had to clean myself the windshield from the ice. Ice on the rear view mirrors. Had to clean myself the ice from the rear view mirrors. The rear truck gate/door could not be opened because it was full of ice. Had to clean myself rear truck gate/door so I can open the gate/door so I can start loading my stuff. This was a nightmare truck rental. The pick-up location was changed with no notification. Communication was awful. The truck was down sized from our original reservation. I would be hard pressed to recommend renting a U-Haul truck or renting one again. Budget and Penske are more expensive but their attention to detail and customer service are far superior!Kathryn J.

The pick up location was a gas station. The clerk working at the time did not know how to hook up the trailer I rented and had to keep stepping away from my transaction in order to assist other customers coming into the gas station/convenient store. This is clearly not the employee's fault. I am frustrated, though, that an additional (and qualified) U-Haul staff member was not available to help with the transaction and the hook up of the trailer. In the end, I had to drive the trailer (with malfunctioning electrical) to another location to receive the help I needed and verify that everything was connected safely and properly.Greg S.
Bill was incorrect and stated that I owed more money. Girl was busy taking care of customers in gas/food store while also taking care of my problem. Took forever before she was able to get in touch with U-haul because your lines were busy. However, once she got through, the matter was quickly and satisfactorily resolved. The lights on the trailer did not work and we were pulled over by an officer. The gentleman working the rental was very polite and helpful however she did not come out and inspect equipment I'm not sure if he was supposed to.shawn D.
Make sure all employees of that location know how to rent the equipment. The teenagers at the counter had no idea what to do when your system was down. Neither did the lady at the storage facility next door.Matthew G.
