The attendant was evasive explaining there cost before signing the contract I found out why with the overcharges at the time of returning the vehicle. The vehicle was severely damaged with the rear door wouldn't close this van should have not been rented being in an unsafe condition.Amir G.

The rental was with a piece of cardboard and they charge me $25 for bringing back supposedly dirty and also charge me $10 for insurance the person who assist me never ask me. I don't need cause I have my own insuranceCarlos A.
Happy with U-Haul, but very unhappy with the moving help we hired - A Perfect Solution. They didn't show up at the appointed hour claiming a stolen phone - and then called me 4 1/2 hours later - after I had completed the move. I will be reaching out directly to get a refund on that portion, but you might want to consider removing them from your list.Marcy Ann R.

First location I went to was on Hazeltine in Sherman Oaks. Would never go back there. Location looked like a filthy junk yard with a dirty funky office. The Sherman Way local was much better.ALEX L.

Karina Karina Karina!!!!! She is the greatest. She was Friendly Authentic Caring and Thoughtful and thats a FACT!!!! I had to go to the main UHaul store for a Queen size mattress cover and the lack of service at the main store made me appreciate Karina and Safe Storage even more. They were nice, it was relatively smooth but my two issues: 1- I booked it online from Thurs 10A-Mon 10A. The woman told me it was due back SUN. It took a a few explanations to tell her I didn't book 4 DAYS, I used the CALENDAR provided on the website and chose Thurs 10A- Mon 10A, that's four, twenty-four hour periods. She accommodated. I returned it easy but saw on my bill a $13 fee for credit card. last I knew, a credit card is REQUIRED to make the reservation. For that reason alone, I will not rent again and would discourage friends. I don't like being nickeled-and-dimed.Michael K.

The check-in process took unnecessarily long and to not be allowed to park in their lot, when their taking my money as I am doing business with them, is ridiculous. There is hardly any street parking and I had to park quite a trek away. Nice people and they were very helpful in the return, but the no parking for a single car in a completely empty lot is a deal breaker. I won't use them in the future.Michael K.

This was the second time I used this location and got charged the additional insurance fee even thought I didn't select it (or need it) when I booked. The management at this location needs to address why it's automatically added after the fact. Not acceptable.Chris P.
Yesterday, I rented a van for 4 hours (and returned it after just two hours). I drove it 18 miles. And put in just over a gallon of gas before returning it. Yet when I received my receipt via email, I was charged for 1.8 gallons of gas. The employee (JOSE RODRIGUEZ) insisted it was not returned with the proper amount of gas. I have a receipt with my purchase and a photo of the gas tank/mileage when I returned it. He then refused to refund the gas charge. I suspect that he is running a scam on customers in the hope that they don't check their recipe.Daniel C.

I had someone from TaskRabbit do a small moving job for me while I was out of town. The rental went smoothly and everyone was helpful. The cargo vans are easy to drive, and can handle just about every smaller move.billie S.

Make sure the vans are clean prior to rental, and require the gas gauge be returned at middle or full. Anything in between is confusing and it cost me 15 extra dollars. Not happy about that.Melanie M.
