This was the WORST experience I have EVER had with Uhaul and I have used Uhaul a lot. I was offered a free upgrade from a 15 foot to 20 foot. I was neglected to be told that it was a different location and it would be self-pick up when I accepted the offer. So, I had to take a lyft 30 minutes out of the way to pick this up. I get there at 11, my pick up is 11:30. There's no one there. I ring the door bell, I call the number, no answer. It's now 11:45, pouring rain, it's hot and there's no where to sit. My partner is disabled and was getting ill from being in the heat and standing. So I call uhaul. As soon as I call uhaul, I suddenly get an answer from their ring door bell that their guy would call me in a couple of minutes to give me the information. It's now noon. I have an hour to drive AND meet the movers at 1. I am pissed, no one has called me. So I call uhaul. I'm on the phone for another 15 minutes when their "guy" finally calls me and tells me the info to pick up the truck. The truck smells AWFUL, it wasn't cleaned out from the last use, there's literally a water bottle with a mold ball floating in it. The engine grinded the ENTIRE time and I was terrified that it was going to break down on me. I will NEVER accept a free upgrade again and I WARN YOU TO NOT USE THIS LOCATION!! It's in the middle of the hood, Macon is not a safe area, there's no one at the location, you just talk to someone through a ring door bell. Go anywhere else. Not here. In fact, Uhaul should not allow this place to rent out their trucks. It makes uhaul look REAL bad. It was a horrible experience. 0/10 stars.

HENRY PWe was kind of delayed when we got there earlier than our time we supposed to had got it. Was calling several times before we got an answer back and didn’t know the extra fees that were included even after we paid the fee that was required first but it’s ok.
