Tell your detail service to be more inviting and less rude when we come to get a truck the detail guy yelled at us for dropping off a person when the green curb was not available to us as a customer we do not know these things and would like to be invited better not yelled at
VERNON GThe U-Haul leaked water in U-Haul towards the back causing about 10 boxes to get soaked underneath. We noticed while unloading.

Terence BI would suggest less false advertising. The truck is 19.95 to rent and 15 dollars for insurance. Then I drove 25 miles for 4 hours and was charged 100.00 because I was told the trucks gas was lower than when I received it. I told the employer at Shell about this and was told there’s nothing he can do about it. He said I either pay 20 dollars for gas to fix the issue or I put 3 gallons in the gas tank and even then, I would possibly still be charged the 20 dollars. Seriously, kinda extreme for driving 25 miles.

JUDEE SA u-haul truck was reserved at 12th street in Salem, Or. The night before we needed it, we recieved an email stating it was canceled,however we did NOT cancel. We called the next morning and were told they didn't have any and we needed to contact the dealer on Lancaster Drive. Luckily they had one. The next day, Saturday, Sept 14th, we returned it to the Uhaul location in South Beach, OR. When we rented it we told them that is where we would return it. We got there around 1:00 in the afternoon and no one was there the building was locked although there was a sign saying they were opened until 4:30. We tried calling the phone number on the sign and left a message. No one came or returned our call. My husband finally called the 1-800 phone number and after getting pissed he was told to look behind the building for a key drop. Thankfully he found one. We were treated like shit from the start and will NEVER recommend uhaul! A total let down from the start!

Ashenafi TNo improvement needed! This site is the easiest place to use. Having it at a gas station makes it the easiest place to return it. No need to drive further for gas. :)

Scott C10ft Truck was in great driving condition. My biggest issues were the weather. I reserved the truck for 1 day. Was hit with snow and then freezing rain. I could not drive truck for days. I called and asked if we could get a discount for the weather, I was granted 3 days off the total of 7 for snow. I called about the Ice storm that came in and had me stuck for 2 more days. Was given those two days also. When I received my Bill for 245.00 $$ I noticed I wasn't granted the last two days for the ice storm. It all but cleaned my bank account out... working on a phone call about the issue
Teighlor HI put in my request for a specific location. It was changed to another. That would have added 20 miles to my rental. I called and was helped out. The lady said there was no way to compensate for those extra miles. Fortunately she was able to switch trucks for me.

ADAM PIf I didn't see another U-Haul truck there, I would not have known it was the correct location. I did not believe there was enough signage to confirm if it was indeed a valid drop-off location.

CYNTHIA D1) my reservation pick up was moved by uhaul to another location not at all convenient to where I was staying. 1a). Uhaul computer at pickup location at the gas station was very slow. The clerk kept apologizing for that and the just before transaction was almost finished the computer said low battery. 2) minor body damage I temporarily fixed due to rainstorm 3) both tires were low, 30psi when I picked up I Inflated to 60psi. 4) lug nuts were only torqued to 30ft/lbs. fender said should be 50ft/lbs. I tightened lug nuts to the required specification. 4) got a voice message from uhaul after business hours asking me to call them back. Took some time to get through the phone system because things were closed. When I finally got to a person they wanted me to change my drop off location that was not convenient to me. I told them no. This was a planned 1000 mile trip with a 5’ x 8’ trailer.

Also very convenient that it is at a gas station, one stop for the end of the process, fill up the gas tank and turn the truck in. Customer service was impeccable, friendly, courteous and communicative. We will definitely return when we need further uhaul services. Thank you for your kind and friendly service.

Jose OI reserved my truck 4 MONTHS in advance. The day before pickup, I called and confirmed the pickup location and time. Received confirmation email and text. Not an hour later received a call saying the pickup location I was promised didn't have the truck I needed. The closest truck was 60+ miles away! Begged for a closer truck but I was less than 24 hours away from a cross country move. I couldn't cancel and uhaul knew it so they didn't do anything but give me a slight discount - if you could call it that. I had already had my car picked up for my move so I was out of luck. I had to Uber and then pay for the additional gas to drive the truck back to my house to load. Their "discount" didn't even pay the difference. Not to mention the 3 hour delay it set me back on moving day. I had to reschedule the guys that were supposed to help move that day and bc of the reschedule they ended up being late also. This made my moving day roll into the next morning. Also, when I went to pick up the truck 1.5 hours away from my original pickup location their discount wasn't in the system and I had to argue with the guy at the counter to give me what was promised. AND the system was telling him that my pickup location was also different than what I had originally booked (again, an hour+ away from my original selection!). Perhaps my tears or exasperation convinced him because he overrode the system and said I could return the truck to my original location. Moves are stressful enough. Uhaul made it much worse. What's the point of a reservation confirmation 4 months in advance if they are going to change it literally less than 24 hours before pickup time?
Kathryn DHow about consistency. Don’t try renting a truck to someone doing a move that has less than half a tank of gas like the other location in Salem on 12th St. I don’t know, I can’t do anything about your concern, these are not good responses from the 12th St franchise.
Tammy SThis was just a gas station where I could pick up my U-Haul truck. The truck was ready and clean, the attendant was courteous and efficient. That’s why I rated it all as average.
John BThis pick up site is a Shell gas station. It had two trucks. The person that checked me in was the only employee at the gas station/convenience store/U Haul store. He was very busy taking care of all of his duties. He did a good job but my confidence level wasn't very high compared to my past experiences at a full on U Haul store.

After Uhaul CHANGED MY DROP-OFF LOCATION WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT - leading to immense confusion and frustration, the staff at this location helped me get the truck returned. This location treated me great! Uhaul treated me HORRIBLY - I DO NOT recommend Uhaul to anyone. They were awful to me.
