I really can’t see much about this location being that nobody really is ever there from what I’m finding out now I was assured by U-Haul that there would be somebody there but there wasn’t when you go to call nobody would answer I had to then call U-Haul customer service to be able to return the truck properly and it took this location a couple days to make it over to that location to check the truck out. I called them the next day after I talk to U-Haul customer service just to make sure because my experience with U-Haul has been terrible. They had a very stern matter-of-fact attitude and I try to let them know about the issues with the truck so this doesn’t happen to somebody else so they can get in the shop. They blew me off and said yeah yeah I will check it out but we’ve never had any complaints from any customers. sorry wrong answer that’s not how you deal with a customer interest trove 900 miles in a unsafe vehicle. That hopes nobody else will have to go through this I feel like U-Haul has tried to pacify me the manager for the U-Haul for the Florida area or I picked it up extended my time I never asked him to, but thank God he did because I never would’ve made it in time so he gave me $200 back that was before I even took off with the truck for it not being clean for keeping me behind schedule everything else the list goes on it is unacceptable for what I paid for this. I expect someone to give me a call and to make this right financially with me and an apology Not a oh yeah well thanks for letting us know. It’ll be fine.

Make sure a dolly is available on the truck when a customer request one

The truck rattled like a tank. Damage to the vehicle prior to me picking it up was visible from the end of the block. Then the 24/7 pick-up was a total joke. My appointment to pick the truck up was at 8:00 in Salem Ohio. I finished all of the background pictures and so forth on the app. After they confirmed everything on the app, the app crashed before I could get the pin for the lock to retrieve the keys. My mother-in-law tried for an hour and ten minutes to call U-haul to get these codes. U-haul transferred us to 5 different customer service reps while dropping 3 different phone calls. We finally received the right code after 1 and a half hours for the keys to the truck. Also, I ordered and payed for a large dolly that was not in the truck. Great way to stick people on a time restraint trying to move. Do not ever use U-haul. Even the worker at the store that I returned the truck to said, she hates dealing with anything though U-haul. Cutting corners to save a buck is a great way to bury a company.

They told me to drop it off the one place in Salem called the place the guy was at the other place he give us directions how to get there and it was the wrong way then I had to turn around and go back the other way he don't know what he's doing

The guy behind the counter is an idiot. Very rude, want to be tough guy attitude. Wouldn’t check my uhaul in or look it over because it was raining outside. Ashamed Uhaul would do business with this clown.

Was difficult to find without having obvious signage out front because it is attached to a storage facility. The return process was confusing as there was no one on site even though it was during listed business hours. Also, not sure how a return could happen if you do not have access to a smartphone.

Rated location below average and would not recommend location because I was required to use the app and it wouldn't work in that local. Akron help line confirmed probs with location and using the app - IT WAS VERY FRUSTRATING and DELAYED our DEPARTURE by ONE HOUR.

Equipment reserved at Elm Ave should be at Elm Ave and not at S Ellsworth Ave.

Staff was extremely friendly, but did not check my brake and signal lights on my trailer or assist with the mirrors on the truck, which I couldn't see out of almost the entire trip on my move. Wanted to chat more than help with the equipment. Very nice but a little disappointed at the customer service end.

Less complaint about the location than the site: I had requested a truck pickup in Alliance and there was an incident where that truck was unavailable, but the replacement was in Salem, about 20 minutes away from my apartment. There were 2 UHaul locations in Alliance less than 5 minutes away from me, which I discovered when I had to locate one to procure the appliance dolly I ordered since there wasn't one on the truck. I drove a significant amount before I even got to start loading the truck.

Truck was not really clean. The location was rather remote, though in the end the check in via app was fine. It started to rain. The shed was dry but then I had no reception!

The drop off didnt have an office but it had signage to drop the key in a slot. I called the number to verify it should be dropped and where to park. They picked up immediately. Better to know its un unmanned office prior to arrival.

Again, needs a clear marking of where you’d like the trailer parked, wheel chalks would be nice to prevent the trailer from rolling away. The app didn’t work for me.

They changed location of pickup and tried to cancel my reservation and rent to someone else even though my reservation was for a 24/7 pickup. We were about 30 minutes late for our pickup and if they weren't open we wouldn't have had a key to get for the van as they were not planning on putting the key in the lock box. I have rented before without any issues, this time it was not a pleasant experience.
