I personally wanted to speak with a representative to document the return of the equipment rented. the drop off was kinda self explanatory trailers on the right I guess trucks to the left. drop boxes on the outside wall.

Hideous experience. Truly the worst interaction I could imagine. The building is simply terrifying. To say it is filthy is not giving it any justice. I could not even find the entrance as it is not marked. There are dogs in the office that bark at you as you enter. There is nobody to greet you nor a location to be greeted. The guy simply walked past me and I did not know if he worked there. Honestly, I have tons of feedback on how horrible this was and would love to talk with and executive. Better explanation of rates. Surprise fees ($30) were unexpected as was the “suggested” daily insurance.

I only had one bar of cell service with AT &T at this location...It took 15 minutes to get approval and get directions to get the car for pickup. If you did a pre-approval, that would save time for sure...I would contact AT&T about cell service at this spot too, or move locations...

they changed locations on us and had to pick the trailer up over 30 minutes away rather than 5. Told us to pick up the trailer on Friday rather than Saturday as we requested and charged us an extra day. Was told I was getting a $50 refund for the location mix-up and the $37.50 back for the extra day. haven't seen it on my card.

UHaul could not find my location when I tried to check in. My location settings were on. We called customer support and waited for 15 minutes. In the mean time we tried two other phones and finally got through on one of those

k two things… When we picked up the truck at 2:30 PM it only had 1/4 tank a gas so had to stop to take care of that, I paid for a dolly not realizing there was already one in the truck! Also, I paid for a 12 pad cover which they did not use… Not the fault of U-Haul but I thought they might have given me a credit which they did not

I was completely frustrated with my experience with U-Haul. I have used U-Haul several times the last few years, but after this experience, this will be my last time. I understand this is a difficult time to navigate through with COVID-19 but if you open and are going to provide service, customers expect you to follow through with what they signed up for and are paying for. I made a reservation for a truck rental a week before my move date. A few minutes after I made the reservation, a U-Haul rep called me to inform me that my preferred location did not have the truck I was looking for, and they directed me to a different location. No big deal. You would think that when they change locations on you, that their reservation details in the following emails would reflect that change. I received an email the day before with instructions on what to do on the day of my rental. On the same email, it told me to go to my preferred location, and then later on in the email, it told me to go to the one it was changed to. Very confusing. The email said I had 24/7 service available, and I could check out the truck at any time, but I went at my reserved time. I arrived at the U-Haul location at 9:00 AM. This was the time I had reserved, and was listed on my reservation. I went through the mobile check-in process and got to the point where I had to open the lockbox to pick up the keys. The lockbox was empty, and no keys were inside. While on the app, I messaged the live help on the customer service. The rep told me to go visit another U-Haul location. Didn't say which location, or explain why there were no keys in the box. I called the local number. The person I spoke with kept telling me they were looking into the issue. I was on the phone with them over a half hour with them coming back every five minutes or so to say give them a little more time while they were looking into the issue. I think all they were doing is stalling to wait until the store location was open at 10:00. I wasted over an hour of my time picking up the truck. It wouldn't have been so bad if I was the only one affected, but I had several movers lined up to help me at each location. This was not only a complete waste of my time, but also all of the people that were helping me move. Once the store owner got to the store, he was at least somewhat helpful. I was very upset with him at first, because he was cursing and made it sound like it was my fault as he said customers usually don't check out correctly and they never do anything correctly, but after he looked up all of my information and saw that I did everything I was supposed to do, he was helpful and gave me the keys. Before leaving, I checked out the back of the truck to make sure the furniture pads I ordered were on the truck, as I've been burned several times by U-Haul in the past by not including the equipment I reserve. There was a dolly which I did not reserve, but the dozen furniture pads

Connection chains to hitch from trailer installed dragging on pavement. Lighting cable too long, as well. Had to go to Uhaul in Washington, PA to correct problems after identified as a problem at Goodyear tire and service!

I did not get a printed receipt and the charges on this whole trip have not matched the original contract that I received a month before I picked up the truck. Buyer beware of “hidden” rental charges for you vehicle.

See previous comments. U-Haul knew we were moving from Cleveland to Pittsburgh. Instead of directing me to drop the truck off at Sam & Mary's, they wanted to send me almost an hour away in rush hour traffic to Bridgeport. I called to get a better suggestion and your rep Nick said there was one 5 minutes away ( Sam & Mary's) but he couldn't tell me to take it there so he transferred me to another area where I talked to a girl who wondered why I was transferred to her. She then sent me back to my original spot where I had to start over again. After staying on hold for 15 minutes, I decided to just take a chance on Sam and Mary and thank God they were still open at 5:10 PM. They were wonderful people and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Pittsburgh area. Your entire Corporate process of acquisition and drop off has to be completely overhauled.

I did not realize that I was renting a truck share and there would be no one here (even though the place was "open") to assist. No moving pads, as requested. It took almost an hour to figure out how to get the truck. Thankfully, UHaul was great to work with over the phone, both for the pick up and return (phone issues prevented us from easily returning too).

The computers were down at the time of return, so i was not provided with any documentation of my vehicle return. Mary was very nice, but the office was not very inviting, as it is shared by another business operating out of the same location.

I have never done this type of , all email/phone rental. It was very hard to navigate through the process. There was not a person that actually knew how to make things work out smoothly. I called the 1-800 number because we were able to return the rental a day earlier and the rep said that it would not matter on the charges. It was very expensive and I wasn't satisfied with the customer service. I think it's a great concept but don't see the value of paying double the price & I had to do all the work..

The van was excellent. I booked online for a 8AM pickup but they open at 10AM (I didn't know that). We tried the ride share (key box with the app) and it didn't work - key was not in the lock box. I didn't get the truck until 9AM. The owners were great to deal with, but I wasted an hour of a very busy moving day sitting in the parking lot talking with customer service.

Extremely helpful. The original pick-up site had the wrong mileage and empty tank listed. Also had a bunch of new blanket bags in the truck from the original pick-up location that they did not charge me for because I did not order them. This location corrected everything and was very nice about it. Thank you!!!

The location worked out well. The pain was using the website to return the truck. The page stopped loading three times on me. I had to install the U-haul app then return the truck. I lost almost 30 minutes of my moving time due to this.
