Worst experience ever!! I will never use U-Haul again. I reserved a 15’ truck with 24 moving blankets a month in advance. I get a 20’ truck with a utility dolly and no blankets and get charged for the dolly I didn’t want. The truck then breaks down and I’m left on the side of the road for almost 4 hrs!! No bathroom, no food and only 2 feet from semis zooming past. Absolutely ridiculous. By the time the truck was towed to a location an hour in the opposite direction it had been 7 hrs. It took an hour for the movers, who were the best part of this entire situation, to transfer my things so an 8 hour set back!! I will never stop telling this experience to anybody who is thinking to use your company. Start to finish a miserable experience!!!
David CThe coordinator was absolutely wonderful and thorough. I was just not expecting a drop off location where I would just pick up the truck, and not talk to a live person. I would have been concerned if the coordinator was not as thorough as she was
Charles PUhaul changed my original pick-up location that I requested, to this location. I was NOT told this was a 24/7 site and that there is NO ONE available at the site. I called the number that was on my confirmation the day before and I thought the person who answered was very rude. It was not my fault that the phone number on the website was his number. He basically kept saying, that's not my job to "help". I had difficulty getting logged into the app at the location and he ended up stopping by. I found it not professional that he said he has never used the uhaul app? He called the area supervisor for help and was finally on my way. I now need to ensure that the uhaul scheduler does NOT send me to his location for a pick-up.
mariflor nWasn’t able to get the keys for over an hour past my pickup time. This is u-haul’s fault. And the truck didn’t have the blankets I paid for.
GRACE CWhy did I receive an email confirming my reservation at one facility, but then texted a different location for pick up. It was confusing to say the least. All in all, it ended up working out. Plus, the gas situation was not fully understood.
