Staff was rude and said they had no reservation. After providing them the reservation number they accused me of stating I had a different piece of equipment reserved. Not a fan of this establishment.

When I made my reservation I wanted to pick up at 7am at a certain location. When I got my confirmation email the day before, it was at a different location, at 930am. (Probably more to do with corporate UHaul, than Sams Auto though) I called Sams Auto, and they said they would meet me earlier. Guy was friendly enough, but had a hard time getting the paperwork completed on the UHaul site. We got through it all in about a half hour. Truck was beat (old GMC 26ft), but again, not Sams Autos fault. Ran good, rode rough, and body was very scratched and damaged, which honestly, I didn't mind, because if I ended up bumping things, it wouldn't show. *But I didn't hit anything, for the record. :) It was clean inside cab and box. Some loading blankets and dolly left in truck. Sams Auto took them out. Mirror arm was broken, Sams Auto couldn't/didn't do anything about it. He said "its broke, thats too bad", I said, "I guess I'll just hold the mirror the whole time, lol".. Told me he would give me a reduced price on gas if I want to fill up before I go, so I did. Ended up same price as listed on their pumps for general customers. Oh well. Paid $75 for half a tank, and only used about ¼ tank, but thats on me. Over all, it was a good experience, and if they have the truck I need in the future (and the other two stores closer to me do not) I would feel fine using them again.

I was over charge for the gas. He said not to fill up the tank anywhere. He said his prices would be better and then he charge me double the amount. I only used 31 miles on the rental and he charged me 15 dollars in gas. I didn’t even think about it til after. Do not recommend this location. Very disappointed ??

Complicated steps in app, No one there to pick up key from mobile pickup. Eventually guy turns up after chatting in app help and about 20 min. Even though we have followed all the app steps guy insists that we needed a printed agreement for him to give us keys and seems upset for us causing him trouble. We are asked fo drive to another location for him to access his computer. When we get there he almost throws the keys at us and tells us we are ok to go, probably after being called by uhaul.

We showed up at 830a which was the time of our reservation. The truck was boxed in and no one on site to speak with. At 907a the site owner arrived. He was able to get the truck out but needed us to drive to alternate location to verify information. By the time we were able to obtain vehicle it was over an hour after my reservation. The vehicle was completely trashed which took time for us to clean. The gas level was slightly over 1/2 tank. When I returned the vehicle, well before the time, I was informed (via the website to verify drop off) that the vehicle had almost 1/4 more gas in it than it did when I picked it up.
