Upon return, the gentleman who took the return, refused to assit (park) the truck in a VERY tight space. Not being regular truck drivers, we did not feel comfortable squeezing it into the space he directed us to. He however, refused to park the truck. The woman who helped us at pick up however, was terrific

Specifically explained I rented the trailer the afternoon prior (4pm) that I was using the trailer for a 24/hr day… and that I was getting it early because the location wasn't open 6am…. Owner called me screaming that if I didn't return the trailer by 11am I'd be charged for the next two rentals. His wife was the one that made the agreement, and I told her I would return the trailer by 4pm the following day. I will never use Uhaul again, and you can search my profile, I used to rent often. I will pass around how unprofessional people are these days…I will never step foot in Sam's auto again.

STEVEN S.Lot was very crowded. There had been a significant snowstorm two days before which probably contributed to this. I was directed to the one open spot. While I was taking the required pictures I was told repeatedly that the trailer needed to be closer to the fence. I had not unhooked the trailer and had every intention to move it closer to the fence after I took pictures of the interior. Apparently the gentleman who continued to tell me it needed to be closer to the fence did not understand the return process. I believe there's some opportunities for coaching. Otherwise the experience what definitely satisfactory.
Ron B.Rented from this place guy at the desk tells me I can park in the lot there I leave I'm about 45 mins away on the highway in traffic going to pick up some new furniture I purchased. I then get a call saying if I'm not back before 5pm he will tow my car off the lot I picked the truck up at 3:30pm and made it very clear he would make sure it gets towed! I then now have to turn around he didn't care how far I was I never got to pick up my furniture cause the placed would have been closed if I tried to make a second trip up they close at 6pm. I feel as this place scammed me out my money $115+ Down the drain and a threat to tow my vehicle of his lot for $220 after telling me I can park there! 0/10 would never recommend this place to anyone horrible service and would remove it off uhaul list there Business is a scam 100%
EDGARDO C.When I returned the truck it was almost on empty I told them it only had an eighth of a tank when I picked it up, and did they want me to put more in as it was almost on E, and was told it was “all set†When I looked at my bank account they charged me an extra$31 What a ripoff!!

DONNA M C.When I left I was told the gas was “nearly fullâ€. What does that mean? How can I know how much gas to put in? The previous day I made the exact same route and paid $4 in gas. Yesterday I paid $24.02 in gas for the same 4-5 miles. I thought you were supposed to fill the tank. This was my mistake-but somehow you should make clear what you are supposed to do and how. How do I put in gas so it's “nearly fullâ€? I hope I'm getting a refund. Not sure how that could happen,unless you send a check to an address I no longer live at. The overall service is great-but the gas refilling business is a mess.

PAUL C.All though I did return the equipment late. I don't think 2.5 hours on a Sunday justifies charging me a full days rental. My receipt says I returned at 5:22 pm when actually it was 2:30 pm. The employee did not speak very good English, no problem with me, but my return was entered 3 hrs after I actually returned it. Let's see if someone cares?? Or if anyone from the company reads these things. Will still use U-Haul in the future but will probably use a different dealer.
