I have a HUGE issue with the overall experience of renting this vehicle. The pickup location and their staff were superb. The corporate office and other people I talked to during the process of extending the contract were absolutely horrible and the issue has forced me to turn this matter over to my family attorney. Absolutely the worst experience ever. Will never ever choose U Hual again. Called the corporate line, spoke to Laura who was Absolutely unhelpful, non understanding, overall poor customer service. The man at the actual site was fine, it wasnt his fault. Laura is the one who made the whole experience terrible.

I did online check in and they refused to accept this. Thjey insisted to start over with counter check-in. They did not have any dolley for me to use even with confirmed reservation

I recently rented a 20' truck ffrom CA to NV. All was well until the A/C stopped blowing cool air on the final leg of the trip. Fortunately, the truck never overheated or broke down, but trust me, the conditions in that truck cab for the last 50 miles of the trip were bad, I'll spare you the details, but if you can imagine driving a sauna on wheels, you'll have some idea how hot and sweaty that experience was. Not good.

Went in person to make reservation for truck That process was great. The salesperson was professional nice. Pick up went very different salesman the owner was not friendly told us to take the sign out ourselves big branch in back we had to take out ourselves.

they do need a better entrance . the driveway is very narrow. a very wide turn is needed to get bigger uhaul trucks into driveway also a bigger sign . very easy to pass if you havent been there before

While Remberto is a nice person and i found the process to rent no problem, given the pandemic all around us, I was disappointed to find the van I rented had not been cleaned at all. When I used wipes on the essential areas - steering wheel, door handles, console, etc, the dirt and grime that showed on the wipes made clear that the van did NOT receive even the minimal cleaning in just these most basic areas usage as he had told me they had been cleaned. So I did it myself which I was not happy about. Given the seriousness of this virus, I was not happy to find that the van had not received even the most basic cleaning. But everything else seemed ok.

That Uhaul app takes too long to approve the driver. I ended up going to the office to get the truck. The staff and facility were great, but U-Haul needs to improve the app experience.

Mobile Check in process can be shortened. Also the U-Haul app can be improved in that instead of a brief showing of the last screen indicating to drop off your keys, it could stay there and require user to mark that they have done so to prevent users from leaving without dropping off the keys.
