The main issue actually is with other locations and the call center. I requested a 20’ and the call center sent me to a location that told me that the call center was wasting my time. They found a 15’ at this location and rented it to me.



Being a first time customer, it will be more helpful to know more about the fees break down and rental options before signing the rental contact.

I was very disturbed in the morning when I went to pick up my rental as I made my reservation to pick up the rental at your Rosemead location and my confirmation email even stated the reservation was for Rosemead. Somehow the pickup location was changed on me and I was never notified so I was at the Rosemead location at 9am that morning to pick up the rental and there I was notified of the location change causing me to lose an hour of time. I hope to receive a follow up or I will be calling to discuss this matter as well.

First, there is zero visibility as the where the place is located. No signs or any other identifying markers. Second, the guy who handed the keys to us never helped or assisted in any other way. Just watched us be very confused as to which truck was ours and when we tried opening the door to the office (which is always locked) he just kept staring at us. A little assistance would've been nice. Finally, we did not receive any of the extra moving supplies we pre-ordered. No dollies or furniture pads. They did refund the money afterwards, but it sure made moving a lot harder. The only redeeming factor is the fact that we got the truck and the truck was great. But the location and service otherwise was horrible.

Made a reservation for a pickup at the Las Tunas U-Haul in San Gabriel I was given an appointment for 5:30 when I arrived it was already closed and as I looked around there were no pickups at that time I was upset I knocked on the door ring the doorbell but no answer. I approach my vehicle lady came out and I mentioned to her that I had an appointment at 5:30 why would I get a appointment at 5:30 if they were closed . She then apologize by saying she would she would give me another truck that was available and only charge me for the mileage of a pickup for their mistake and my inconvenience. Not having what I originally set out 2 receive which was a pickup. I mentioned that I had to be at work Monday and that my fiance would be returning the vehicle in which she was charged almost $500 he should have been charged for a pickup truck mileage. I am very dissatisfied and will not look 2 U-Haul 4 any further moving needs nor will I recommend U-Haul to anyone if I am not satisfied with my complaint reply and reimbursement for the mileage I am owed thank you.

Rented the Econoline Van for an intern move. Checking out, I was in and out in 5 minutes. Checking in, took even less time. Remarkably efficient (and nice) staff, too. Also, truck was basically new. Moving is never fun, but this experience definitely made it easier. Great work, San Gabriel U-Haul.

We had a terrible experience. The truck broke down on the freeway. It took a total of 5 hours before it was towed to residence. Your roadside dispatch needs so training process improvement. On the other had your customer service people where excellent.

Uhaul originally sent me to another location for the reservation and the truck was not there and when I finally got the truck an hour and a half later at another location they did not give a discount or anything for the inconvenience. They didn't even call to tell me the location was changed they just let me show up and nothing was there. And when I arrived at the second location to ask for compensation for my time the vendor had no idea what I was taking about.

Was not location I requested, found out the day prior to picking up truck. So, it took time out of my already busy schedule for a move to go over 10 miles in the opposite direction. When I called customer service, after about 20 or so minutes.. the final lady I got transferred to seem be offended that I questioned why the move could happen prior to me picking up the truck to the UHaul location I picked... Poor customer service... As a Manager myself, I find this entire transaction a rude experience via the phone. The guy at the location was helpful and courtesy.

The emplotyee who recieved our drop-off truck was very accomodating, friendly, and helpful. However, the location at the rear of an unmarked building was a bit confusing and easy to miss. That's the only reason I rated the location as "average" overall.

So upset!! Over all in the beginning the experience was great.. at the end when we came back something was wrong with the passenger tire and the salesman immediately went to that tire as if he knew something!! Well lesson learned and advice next time check the tires. My mistake ..but I will dispute this ..

There was one thing I did not like as far as your business practices go. I did not use or even break the seal on the bag of moving blankets in the truck. I was charged for using them anyway and was told that by reserving the blankets I should be charged for them whether I use them or not. This is not a good practice. Sours the experience. Lesson learned: don't reserve anything just use them if you want and then get charged. this is a bit of a scam. I may go elsewhere next time.
