karen lCannot say enough good things about the manager/owner of the Soquel CA store. After some difficulties in previous moves with U-Haul having the right equipment in the right location at the right time, this owner proactively contacted me bf I could contact him to verify the rezzy. He was highly professional, courteous and motivated to help. We had to go to a different location for the trailer so he called me ahead and arranged for me to go with him, at his expense and at my convenience, to pick it up the day bf my rezzy started. Without his professionalism I would have experienced the same day-of issues I experienced twice before, burning critical time at the start of the trip that took days to recover from. Nicely done Sir, a true breath of fresh air!

Wondering if it had to do with the fact that (as your personnel told us) someone siphoned gas from the truck the night before our pickup? :( Really friendly service, easy transaction and communication. Wheel alignment was slightly off, pulled to the right but not bad.
barbara tThis location is at a difficult intersection re:ingress and egress. The yard itself is around the corner of an adjacent building so it’s somewhat hard to see, plus the entryway into the yard was particularly “attractive” - I didn’t have to enter the actual storage yard so I can’t really comment on its cleanliness etc. However, there was an attendant on duty and he was VERY helpful and made the check-in/drop off painless.

William HI’ve moved a lot in my adult life and have always moved through U-haul. Most of my experiences have not been great in terms of customer service. But this location goes above and beyond. I believe I’ve gone through Neighborhood U-Haul about 3 times while living in the Santa Cruz area. No matter who is at the desk, I always get sincere, friendly and caring service. This location should be the model for every location. They make you feel like they truly care, and go out of their way to help.

David CExcellent service. I didn't have a reservation and showed up on Saturday to rent a vehicle. The person at the counter worked hard to show me my options and give what they had that would work best for me. Worked out great. I called in to ask how much gas I need to fill up the truck and the person told me what was in the tank when I left and how much I would need to put in according to the miles I drove with it. Kudos to the person working the yard who ran out to my car before I left to give me the parking pass I left hanging from the mirror. I really needed it and it would have been hard to replace. He literally ran out and gave it to me as I was driving away. Much thanks and appreciation. Highly recommended.
