Service and trucks were great, just note that the data/internet connectivity is not strong in the back so connect with the app before you arrive. I picked up and dropped off during business hours and the staff was really helpful, though.Siobhan B.

I was told I could not put on my tow dolly by uhaul when I placed my order. A uhaul employee must put on the tow dolly to ensure it was safe. I was also told it was cost me nothing to have the tow dolly put on. The dealer at Santa Cruz Short Stop, 2871 A Soquel Av, Santa Cruz, CA 95062 said I had to pay him. I told him I was told when I place the order that it would cost me nothing. He said he was giving me a good deal because he should charge me $75 ($81.95 with tax). He would only charge me $50 ($54.63 with tax). I have spoken with other haul dealers and they said I should not have been charged and when I rented the trailer it was NOT on the invoice/contract. I want a refund for $54.63 I admire you for posting them for public viewing.Matthew B.

I was supposed to pick up my truck in Felton on a Saturday morning. Five minutes before picking up the truck I got a call telling me the location was closed due to an emergency. I was informed that I would have to drive to San Jose to pick up my truck and would receive a $50 refund. This inconvenience cost me an extra day off work and a day lost in packing. I opted to pick my truck up in Santa Cruz the following day rather than drive 120 miles round trip in weekend traffic. I honestly don't blame the Felton shop but feel that U-Haul should do more to compensate me. My time is worth more than the $50 dollars they offered me. I also have no complaints with the Soquel U-Haul location. The employee was professional and helpful. I guess costumer service just suck with corporate, and I plan on contact them with my complaint.Galen S.

I loved the location and the people working there. My problem was I was instructed that I needed to fill the vehicle after I was done which is obvious. When I got in the vehicle I noticed the gauge did not say full. But I assumed it was of. Well I drove 15 miles total and when I filled it I had to put 5 gallons in. Plus gauge went all the way to the top. Cost me 30 bucks because of prices. I should have pointed it out before leaving and not assuming the gauge was wrongChris E.

The person at the Santa Cruz location was excellent. If I lived in the area I would recommend him to others and use him again. The issue I have is with uhaul itself. I reserved a trailer for my move on 3/28. I was supposed to pick it up at the Belmont CA.. location which was a distances from my location. I received a call that late morning that they didn't have the trailer I reserved. I asked the person where was the next location that I could get a trailer that I reserved. She told me there was one in Tracy CA.which. was too far away. I asked if they had a trailer that was a different size available? She told me that there was one in Santq Cruz which was 1 hour and 20 mins. away. When I got there, it wasn't the right type of trailer I needed. The person at the Santa Cruz location was able to accommodate me.Ronald L.

My original reservation was made for â€œcontactless pick upâ€, paid in full, from â€œFalcon Group and Double Timeâ€ in Soquel. The vehicle I reserved wasn't available. I called the owner/operator and was told to wait for her to arrive and she would assist me. After two hours of waiting I was rudely greeted and then told my reservation was canceled by the owner. I had to pay for a ride to a different location where several vehicles were available and easily made ready for me. My experience at the original location was the worst example of professionalism I have ever had. Santa Cruz short stop made the transition easy and the service was friendly and professional.Cameron K.

The location is a bit hard to find if you don't already know where to look and parking is very limited on site and nearby. The staff is very efficient and skilled at creating parking spaces, but I would still recommend being dropped off if at all possible. Overall it was a great experience.Patrick K.
