The agent at this location said they have no control over the situation. If that is true, I blame U-Haul for letting me down in a big way.

Brandy S.My experience was horrible start to finish. The self checkin process took 30 mins. The entire process should be explained PRIOR to committing to it. It was not explained that checkin is actually through a live chat service and that references would need to be available to answer the phone immediately. When I arrived at my destination, I turned off the truck and it wouldn't restart. I waited on hold in the heat for about 20 minutes and while waiting was able to get the truck started again. The next morning the same issue. 2 hour wait for road side who determined the tumbler in the ignition needed to be replaced. Side note, the truck had manual windows, locks and doors that needed to be slammed to close properly. The self check in process was not fun either. In a torrential downpour I had to take pictures if the entire outside of the truck. My phone soaking wet, myself soaking wet and then then they wouldn't load three times. Side note - no customer service on Sundays. Very frustrating experience all around.
Stephanie J.I was charged $175 for more miles after the fact. I won't recommend uhual to anyone. I drove from Ohio to Georgia it cost almost $2,500 and that doesn't even include gas. When I reserved everything it listed $1,900. I won't make the mistake of using uhual again!

Your prices are based on mileage and due to the location change, my miles was increased as well as fuel. Making a reservation is waste of a customers time.
