I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent U-Haul rental experience. My original booking was scheduled for 10:00 AM, and I arrived at the assigned location on time. However, the U-Haul representative arrived approximately 20 minutes late, causing an unnecessary delay. Additionally, although I had reserved 5 dozen moving blankets, none were available at the pickup location. The representative instructed me to call another U-Haul location on Miller Avenue, where I was placed on hold for 30–45 minutes, only to be told that they also had no blankets available. I was then transferred to another location, where I remained on hold again before eventually hanging up due to the long wait. This situation created significant stress, as I was concerned that without the blankets, my move would become very difficult and my belongings would not be properly protected. After returning home, I continued calling multiple U-Haul locations across Saskatoon to locate blankets. I spent nearly an hour on hold again before confirming availability at the 11th Street West location. I then had to drive there myself and was only able to obtain 3 dozen blankets instead of the 5 dozen originally requested. Overall, I wasted 2–3 hours of critical time searching for blankets and incurred additional fuel costs due to the extra driving. Furthermore, the truck I received did not have a full gas tank, which created additional inconvenience, as it will now take extra time and effort to refill before returning the vehicle. This experience was highly frustrating, stressful, and inefficient. Given the time lost, added expenses, and inconvenience caused, I am requesting appropriate compensation. I expect better coordination and customer service, especially when essential equipment is reserved in advance.

Service was fast and friendly, very accommodating and full of knowledge. They explained everything to me and answered all my questions plus more. The tires were a bit iffy on the snow/ice but most uhauls are. They went above and beyond to provide me service!

There is no out side signage that this is a U=Haul location. There were two men in this place and both were extremely rude to me as a woman, I actually was concerned for my safety! The actual U-Haul representative was not there. My app would not complete the check out process and there was no computor available for me to do the process. Again had to park the truck in mud and gravel conditions which is not condusive. I would suggest that this is a front for illegal business in Saskatoon. I will never return equipment there again. I was afraid of these men. I am thinking of reporting this location to the police as something illegal is occuring at this location
