Trunk was on E picked it up with no gas ! The inside smelt like cigarettes . Ashes and dog hair everywhere. So now all my stuff smells like smoke and his covered with white dog hair .

The first car dolly I picked up had considerable damage to both of the plastic fenders and one of the tires appeared to be a car type of radial tire that was well worn. After taking the dolly home, I noticed that one of the wheel straps was about 40% worn through which for safety reasons required that I return that unit to exchange it. This specific tow dolly should not have passed any reasonable inspection based upon the damaged wheel strap alone.

Location opened almost 10 minutes late and on return was closed for lunch break, but at least back on time. When returning the staff indicated the U-Haul system was down and they would process my return and email me the receipt. Despite these things, I would still recommend with caveats as the staff was fast and friendly once there.

Improvement not necessary. We received excellent customer service, courteous and professional employee and welcoming despite our timing. We came in at the 11th hour before closing and was still greeted and serviced with a smile. We will be back here at this location. Thank you.

I rented for a long distance trip. The truck 1/4 tank of gas. I started my trip immediately getting fuel. It would have been nice to have a full tank.

Repair the windshield. It's dangerous to have it cracked over 75% of the window. Bed was not cleaned. Employee took a blower to clean it, but his battery was dead. I found screws and broken glass in the bed.

This location is scheduled to open at 9am. However; employees did not arrive to open the store until 9:15am. Customers are on a strict timeline with movers. This caused significant delays in my schedule, my movers schedule and their next job after mine all because U-Haul did not open on time. First thing my mover said is "We are not off to a good start". I believe initially blaming me for the cause of the delay.

Upon arrival in he staff member was looking at the wrong return as I had two rentals a truck and a trailer. I advised him I was not returning the truck just the trailer. He l didn’t acknowledge me so I asked him if he heard me as the truck was not due back. He said very rudely I heard you the first time. That was his introduction or greeting. I asked him if he was having a bad day when he told me to take the trailer somewhere else. I was in a hurry and did not have time so I asked him if we could start over and he reluctantly agreed to take the trailer which was on the contract as the drop off place. I watched him take the trailer and park it. Everything worked fine the entire trip. He calls me about 45 minutes later and says there is damage to the tongue of the triage and he’s going to charge me 600 dollars for damage. I tried to tell him nothing could have damaged the tongue and it was working just fine. Finally bc of his nastiness from the start I told him I needed to go and called corporate and filed a complaint. I have rented from U-Haul probably 20 times in the last 4 years, trucks trailers etc. never have I been treated so rudely and unprofessionally. This guy is looking to find something to make money or make my life difficult due to our interaction. I don’t trust this place so opted to return the truck to another location. Rude and shady business. I hope U-Haul will look into this.

The employees in store were great. My less than good experience came from my reservation and the equipment I reserved not being available. The employee quickly and free of charge upgraded me to a different vehicle but I do not understand the reservation system if the equipment reservation does not guarantee me that equipment.
