A day after drop off, I get a phone call saying or I took the trailer to the wrong U-Haul, I be able to explain to him that I brought it to the one I was given and giving him directions on where it is on the lot, but he told me hold on hold on and then continue to tell me that I did it wrong and that it wasn’t there, and that if I didn’t move it back to the correct U-Haul destination, I would face $100 fine, I called uhual support and talked to Carrie, she read the address out loud, which was the same address, she sent me both a picture of Apple Maps and Google maps to confirm the location and what it looks like, so then I went to the location, even though I was supposed to be heading to Kings Island, and took pictures of the trailer, the lot, the building. As I was trying to explain to the man on the phone before he told me to stop and listen, the trailer was the second to last one on the back of the lock. Literally the second one to the left. I could’ve told him that on the phone, but he wouldn’t listen to me talk. So then I wasted an hour of my day driving before I could even go to kings island. If the man simply would listen to me when I was telling him where it was none of this would’ve happened. Also, when I pulled up to the location, there was nobody there. I tried to go to the building, but it was locked and there’s a sign on the door saying call this number, I called the number and no one answered. It wasn’t until the next day that I got a phone call telling me that I did it wrong, (which I didn’t) well maybe if he answered the phone It would’ve been less confusing. Speaking of location, the grass is completely overrun, the building looks like it is falling apart, there is a renovation sign on it, but it doesn’t look like anything is even being done, very uninviting.

I have used this place before. I didn't interact with anyone because I dropped off after hours. I was charged an additional $21 for dropping off after hours. No one told me there would be additional charges for that (see my pick-up location comment). Otherwise, drop off was super smooth.

Tina DWaited a hour for the code to get into lockbox because the original code wasn’t correct . Then lost an entire hour of daylight and had to return truck next day essentially a hour early because again we lost a hour. Lady on phone was less than helpful kept talking to her brother, had to let her dog in basically everything except her job. Then she charged the account for 3 uhauls instead of 2 the worst experience we could have had I will Never return or tell anyone to come to Anderson on state road 9 location ever again.
Kali SThe key was left inside the office instead of in the lock box. I had to call them to come in and find it. To be fair, I picked it up an hour or so later than my reserved pickup time and they had warmed it up prior for me. The right guy arrived promptly and got me on the road.
Brett NEvery image needed uploaded separately and it took nearly an hour for both the pick up and drop off. It was ridiculous. If we had been closer to our drop-off time, we would’ve missed it. Also, when we initially reserved the truck, it was around $45. When we got it yesterday, it cost around $75. We were not thrilled with the unexpected jump in price. That added on to the cost to refill the tank? No. Not again.

They are fraudulent, horrible and just down right need to be SHUT DOWN! Since this experience I WILL NEVER rent a uhaul again. I would rather WALK every single box to the new location than to ever rent another uhaul. I’m out $230 for a 24 hour rental that has MAYBE 50 miles put onto it
