The truck we was given was a piece of junk and needs to be taken out of service we got 40 miles from where we started and the air quit then work then go out again it didn't work three forths of the time it was hot and we were miserable unexceptable.Theresa J.

1. U-Haul - note the mileage from where the reservation was made to where the truck is actually going to be picked up and credit those number of miles to the rental (I started 50+ miles away from where I wanted to rent the truck). 2. If the after hours system is going to be used - make sure there is cell phone coverage such that you can use the online check out procedure. 3. The lock on the truck should be easy to work or use the lock boxes like the U Haul video - the round lock is good from a security standpoint BUT the amount of force required to work was ridiculously excessive. Put instructions on the lock or on the back of the truck you put the lock on - something that makes it easier "align the letters for the combination, push down harder than you expect and keep making small adjustments to the dials until the lock is fully opened." 4. As soon as the reservation start location is changed - either - A. Automatically refund the "Reservation Guarantee" fee or B. for reservations that were made a month in advance (like mine) move the truck to where the reservation is supposed to start. 5. The phone agent Michelle Bryant saved this reservation and was 5 stars! She was exceptional and made a lousy situation better.Scott C.

I would like to explain the difficult situation that happened. Marisa at sealtite where I rented the car dolly was a sweetheart, she was uncertain of a couple of questions I had. I wanted to know if I could drop off the dolly at another uhaul location in ozark, so I called Marisa back & couldn't reach her, so I called a emergency number & talked to someone else & she told me I could drop it at the uhaul dealer on north 23 hwy @ the pawn shop ( I think the name is River edge pawn) Marty Baker owns it, when I dropped it off, I went In, talked to Marty himself & told what i was dropping off & asked him where he wanted me to park it & he said, out back by the other trailers, so I did. I get my invoice & there was a 2 day charge for the dolly I only used for 4 hrs because Marty lied an said he didn't know I returned it. The district manager is Tony Lowery, I talked to him about this & he was rude to me & blamed it all on me & basically called me a liar 3 or 4 times. They will never have to worry about me renting anything from uhaul again, this was my first & last time ever making that mistake again.Paula F.
