Margaret MI am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I recently received from U-Haul. During my rental, I experienced poor customer service and was charged more than the originally quoted amount. I attempted to resolve the matter at the location, but the staff was unhelpful and dismissive, which added to my frustration. I expect transparent pricing and respectful service as a customer, and this experience did not meet those standards. I kindly request that you review my charges and correct any overbilling. Additionally, I hope steps will be taken to ensure better customer service moving forward. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a prompt resolution.

There was no indication that arriving an hour after my reservation started was a problem when I reserved - I purposely was willing to pay for the extra hour at the beginning of my rental in case I was able to pick up a little early. I wasn't, so got to the location an hour after my paid reservation time began. When the app didn't work for pickup (terrible experience - why is it this limited, and without clear warnings?), I went in the office and they gave me attitude about being "late" and then didn't have all the equipment I had reserved (the didn't have the dolly I reserved and I had to use a heavier, bulkier appliance dolly that didn't work well for my needs). Bad experience - I would definitely not use this location, and will probably look in to using Penske or another service rather than using UHaul again.

WILLIAM DMy issue is not with the location - they were fine. It is your policy of requiring a phone in order to rent your truck. Talk about "making it hard to do business with you". I walk into your location - ready to rent and the clerk says everything is done through email so you need a phone. My phone was somewhere with my stuff so I had to go dig through my stuff to find it. I don't understand why you would make it so inconvenient for your customers to require a phone. An option yes, but just stick to doing it the old fashion way also. That's a good customer experience either way. You may end up losing customers if you don't

CHRISTOPHER AFix your app. Hire someone who knows what they’re doing and just redo the entire app, nothing worked properly and the user experience for picking up a truck was terrible. Took an hour because I had to keep calling customer service. At one point I said screw it and took on all risks for my rental because photo uploads didn’t work. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.

JASON PI waited for over 30 minutes for employee to get in. I had to use lock box that wasn’t even set up correctly on the app. My day started later and ended later due to this issue. I did not have time to get gas but was charged anyway. This was not a good experience.

RAGHAVA PI don’t usually write reviews unless I’ve had an extremely bad customer service experience—but in this case, I had an unusually great experience, thanks to Ralph. I needed to change the size of my truck, and Ralph made the entire process smooth and stress-free. He was kind, professional, and went out of his way to make sure I had exactly what I needed. He even double-checked everything to make sure the new truck was ready to go without delays. Customer service like this is rare these days, and Ralph truly deserves recognition. If every U-Haul location had someone like him, moving would be a lot less stressful!
Ruth MIf you want to use the app to pick up the truck without going to the office, set up the app a few days before the appointment because the app requires numerous items, including place of work contact and passport!
MICHAEL FWhen reserving tools in advance it is very frustrating to not have them in the vehicle because they do not have them at the location.

MARK EPicking up the truck was very slow and frustrating using the app. Truck was difficult to locate and in a different place from the key pick up. License and ID verification was slow and had to be done on site so waiting for third-party verifications took a while. Very frustrating.I wouldn’t do this again.
Mark NI dropped off U-Haul 2 hours earlier than it was scheduled and was charged as if dropped off in scheduled time. Was dropped off at 1pm and scheduled drop off was 3pm .

TERESITA LLocation did not have the full dozen furniture pads I requested. Truck was useable but had not been swept out. Gas tank was clearly on the low side of the level on the paperwork.

STEVEN SDirty snowed trucks. Not clean. The dealer didnt care to clean it even though there was a booking. Unecessary charges were added. I was charged 19$ for 4 gallons for 19 miles. Just amazing.
SAMEER KI have rented many uhaul vans in the past this one was by far the dirtiest inside cab and in back. The attendant could care less told me that I wouldn’t be charged for the trash already inside the van. Wouldn’t do a walk around with me.
