UHaul needs to update the available locations on their app and improve their customer service. I made a reservation at a location in Leesburg, VA, to use mobile pick-up, only to find that there are no trucks at that location. Keep in mind, UHaul confirmed my reservation via email for mobile pick-up at this location. When I saw no visible signs of UHaul being at that location, I went to the other location listed in Leesburg on the UHaul app to find that location has been abandoned and closed. I lost a couple of hours of moving time waiting to get in touch with someone both over the phone and via the chat feature in the UHaul app. It took over 2 hours to hear back from someone over the phone. The chat agent eventually got my reservation switched to the Security Public Storage location in Ashburn. Oh, and the truck I was finally assigned was missing a windshield wiper (yes, it was raining this particular day), so I had to remove one from another truck! I recommend this location for UHaul pick-up, however, UHaul needs to improve their overall customer service if I'm to use their service again.
Charles MThe truck was not ready when I needed it to be picked up. I fully expect to be reimbursed for the moving pads as they were wet and smelled like iced tea had been spilled on them. Also I had to pay double for my movers bc the truck was not ready to be picked up when I had reserved it due to the ashburn location not being ready in time. I will need reimbursement for this as well as this is unacceptable. I would never recommend this experience to anyone. Please refund me
