You charged me for gas I didn't use... Before returning the truck I stopped at a gas station and replaced what I'd used..I have a witness to this as well as a receipt. .. Yet when I got my email receipt from you $18.52 was added to the bill for the cost of five gallons of gas... Why do you have to rip people off to make a profit? I would recommend this location during the week. We booked a uHaul truck for 8 hours starting at 11 am on Sunday, 1/17. When picking up the truck we were notified we had to return the truck by 3:30 pm or pay for another day. Please ensure the uHaul website coordinates with private companies (security storage) to ensure client satisfaction. Due to the rush, this experience was 5/10.Megan S.

I just want to say I got magnificent service from security public storage . I was treated very poorly by U Haul truck rental manager at the Oddie/ Silverado truck rental. I am very hard of hearing and had to have Lynda Hernasus repeatedly repeat herself. I needed a truck for at least 24 hours/48 hours. She would only rent it for 8 hours at $29.95 plus mileage. Then it was she refused service all together. I was moving my 80 year old mother and only had 48 hours to have her moved and she had 16 years of stuff to move... I have never been treated so poorly by a manager, I will never return there on Oddie Blvd U haul and I will make sure all my friends and people I know how badly I was treated....ANDREW T.

The cashier overcharged me and didn't send a receipt, when I called she said she couldn't find a receipt though I was charged $78 for a two hour rental of a 10' truck, which they say starts at $19.95 but have many hidden fees. Extremely poor service and not easy to ask for corrections with payment, they have you call 1-800 U-Haul and she hung up on me after I asked for a manager. Worst service I've ever experienced. Even if you don't click the $14.00 Safety Insurance they added it anyway. After the call she sent me a receipt which charged didn't match or specify where they charged me but came out to over $70.Amelia G.

Mobile check in is a joke. Two people can't have the same phone number. So I had to go inside anyways. The lady had no clue what to do for mobile check in. The process is ridiculous. There is no gate code given. Locked inside the facility trying to leave with the truck and the intercom doesn't work. Had to walk in and as for gate open a sevond time!! Is that how your all your workers are trained?! Every experience with Uhaul is a headache.Robert F.

Outstanding. Original u-haul facility called me 24 hrs prior to rental stating they did not have my truck and directed me to the El Rancho Facility who were excellent during this covid virius. I would have appreciated the ability to download a copy of my drivers license prior to arriving at facility. Everything else great and will use them again.Gerald S.

I do not feel the $25 fee that I was charged for cleaning was fair there was nothing wrong with the truck nor was it dirty I feel this should of been checked in front of me not after the fact when i left otherwise i would have disputed the charge because there was nothing wrong. The truck we rented had not been cleaned between use. There was pet hair and food crumbs. Did not appear to have been sanitized, which is pretty important right now, per this pandemic, between customers on all common touch points, seats, and interior surfaces. I think the back should be sanitized as well. Overall the staff helped us get the truck and return it through the window and they were nice. thank youNicole S.

I was then told they couldn't locate the rest of the equipment that I had requested. When I came to return the truck, the location was closed. I wanted a 10 ft van - your computer said silverado does not have any although there are 4 in the yard yesterday and today - you sent me to El Rancho - they do not open til 9:30 and I wanted to get done before it gets to hot - so I stopped there yesterday and asked if I could pick up the truck last night - ok 5PM he said - went back at 5 PM and he said we don't have 10', but we hae 15 ft for $29.95 - what could I do??? your computer said they had 10ft he said at 11am I could pick up 10ft at 5PM, at 5PM he said they don't have any - total rip off your company - by the way today there are still 4 10ft vans at silverado yard at 1PM when we got finished you pulled this before - it is called bate and switch and it is illegalJohn J M.

Was told to drop off at specific location over the phone, went there and they said they don't accept trailer drop offs. Was told to go to location #2 (did that) and they said they didn't have room for trailer and sent me to 3rd location. 3rd location was fine but again just as frustrating as pick up situation. Was not offered any time of discount or anything for all of the inconvenience. overall NOT happy.Kris N.
Picked and and the trailer was fine. I asked for a 12 hr rental - they stated they don't do afterhour drop offs, had to come back the next day to drop (before my other appointments) . I tried calling U-Haul to see if I could change drop off location they stated that can not happen either. I had a small crib that I wanted to donate, no donation places would take it (tried 4 places). I asked if I could throw in their dumpster, they said I could not but I could take it to the dump. Got charged for leaving it in trailer. I will NOT be renting like this again.Rogelio G.
Location on Oddie Blvd said they didn't have a tow dolly when there at least 4 outside. Employee said they were broke. He sent me down the street where these employees were nice enough and got me set up. When I dropped off the trailer I was unsure if I was supposed to unhook it myself because no one came out of the office to help me during this process. So I unhooked it myself.Dustin G.
UHaul gave me a reservation time that wasn't matching the hours of the business that was keeping the trucks. And that happened twice. Once in the evening and once in the morning. We lost so much time because of this... It is very difficult to trust a UHAUL reservation. I always have to double check or doubt everything Uhaul Customer service is telling me... Was a bit odd having a truck with the "Wrong Size Hub" on the right side, causing it to constantly display tire pressure is low on the right front tire. Also the location we picked it up at was a licensed dealer but they also had construction going on which made finding the office confusing at first when the office is INSIDE the gate and the only way inside without a passcode is a gate-door with a lock on it that looks like it's locked (but isnt).Abigail R.
