dropped off truck on sunday they did not get it checked in until monday and charged my credit card for extra day

Brakes shimmy and shake when trying to stop, transmission shif hard and did not shift correctly felt very unsafe... , truck clearly not maintained , then charged me damn near $100 for a 33 mile trip and rental.. , NEVER AGAIN!!

Was a drop off. We didn't deal with anyone. **Not authorizing a $25 cleaning fee for bugs in the truck. Bugs should be expected door a trip of this size.

The problem was within the customer service and road side. They were the worst and least caring employees the training there is awful . I was blammed for the vechile it was breaking down I called at least 10 tumes. And it took 2 days to help me. Then to be charged $635

Employee was not aware of how to do the paperwork so we could rent the truck. Messed up the rental and never changed the system to reflect I paid for a week.

I was overcharged I'm sure some cleaning fee was assessed in spite of the fact that I returned the equipment in far better condition than when I received it. They were also late and missed my scheduled 3:30 pick up by an hour.

My truck was a piece of CRAP !! the u-joints clanked when you put it in gear.You had to be very careful when putting it in reverse. the driveshaft vibrated and you could feel it in the cab. the truck had a pick up speed. it must of taken me 1/4 mile to get to 60 mph.It had a bad miss and do not even thik about pulling out into traffic because it wont go !! No power to climb even the smallest hills. I drove it for 4 hrs and was worried the whole way. I did not think we would make it.i will never ever ever rent from u-haul again.that truck only got 8.7 mpg !! But it was clean.

We rented a 15 foot truck a week before and ended up getting a 26 foot truck to drop off at this area when we tried to do an over night drop off the place was not well lit and we saw no drop box so we kept had to keep the truck another night costing us more money there is no real or clear office that we could find at that time this second rental that we picked up and dropped off at this location we found out the use a back storage unit as like an office but was not marked you would not know it was there unless someone was at the units we where lucky to find someone to start the rental however when showing up they where working on switching the internet and asked me to come back I was able to come back 10 mins later and the issue was still not fixed when i got there so O asked if I started the rental online of would go though they said yes so I started about half way though the internet started to work and they where able to do our rental it's sad that military and Vets are not able to get even a small discount but we pushed though the man doing the rental really didn't know what he was doing but some how got though it. My rental was due at 11:30 I brought the truck at 10 am no one was around so seeing after finally finding the drop box I left the keys in the box and parked the truck as they asked me to when I picked it up I got a phone call about 30 mins later that they had to redo my rental because they didn't do my payment right I was in the middle of an appointment ( being pregnant and giving birth the 21st Monday I was looking to get some rest after this appointment not come back to fix mistake I didn't even make) so after the appointment I come back luckly I had a family member under enough to take me back they redo the whole rental there where no places to sit and it was hot being pregnant that was awful finally everything is done and fixes but being the second rental we have used in just a week or so it was all round not the best I was thankful that the first rental did not charge us for the size truck we got but they also had to change the size twice and this last rental had the major issue that needed me to return no discounts that could be used and the man didn't even know how to add a discount had I had a promo code or coupon to begin with just not happy with what we had to go though over this move

I reserved 2 weeks prior for the town I live in. The day before I was informed I had to drive 30 miles to pick up the truck and was only discounted $15. Why did I have to reserve it in one location and it not be there. What's the point of reservation.

I experienced many problems with my rental experience, but NONE of them had anything to do with this site (which was very helpful & informative) or U-Haul. Instead, my difficulties related to the rigors of moving in Winter weather.

Talked with dealer about 1 hour out. Worker met me at location which is not manned 100% of time. Did paperwork. COPD was acting up so worker did complete hook up of trailer after I positioned my truck. I asked a couple of questions and on my way in about 1/2 hour. Very knowledgeable employee.
