The vehicle was a 26' truck instead of a 20' truck that I had ordered; therefore, it cost a large amount of gas more to drive over 1000km to make it back to Niagara Falls via Timmins the location of the move. After a short distance driving away from the province I could start tp smell something and pull over and found a bag of rotting small carrots and also molded strawberries under the drivers seat. After arriving in Timmins the move location, I was trying to figure out if the front center seat had a console that could be lowered as the cup holder on the dash board center area was broken. Needless to say I did find that the seat lowered and there was another cup holder here that I can use. I also discovered that this center console had a storage area and once I opened it this is when things got very strange. I found what a ziploc bag with an I-phone and a rolled up $100, after picking up the bag and turned it around I discovered no name credit card and a smaller bag of crystalized drugs Fentanyl or crystal meth. I called Uhaul right away and was able to send pictures to them of this. I told them that I had to go out of my way to head to the Timmins Police station to dispose of this contraband. The police inspected the ziploc bag and aggreed with me on what it was! (From experience I"m a psychiatrict Intensive care nurse and have seen this type of drugs frequently in NIagara Falls) You can just imagine what could have happened if I was stopped on the way to Niagara falls by police on a routine check. I will never utilize Uhaul moving vehicle rentals ever again and I will make sure this experience is past along. You can check in the file about the call and the drugs and you ca even call Timmins police to check on the validity of this. I did not think you needed to do a 1,000, 001 inspection with the departing location. we looked at the markings and damage on the outside of the truck and opened the back to check out the box.

Tara DI reserved a truck two weeks in advance, take two days off work to clean out my fathers house. Sister also took two days off. Drove six hrs to arrive at my dad's house at 1645 and received a call from U -haul KL - there is no truck and I would have to drive another 150km the next morning to get one. Why reserve a truck in the first place. Even if they told me earlier I could have got on in North Bay or something. So not really impressed - extra time lost, extra gas, etc...

Stephane VProblem with accepting my driver’s license via the Pick Up Application on my cell. This is the second time this problem appears. Not the Rental location problem but your U Haul Application. The interior of the truck and box was not clean. The keys where not in the key box but on the wall behind the counter. Took a while before we got service with the attendant. The gas tank was 1/4 and U Haul says it was 1/2. On the good side, the dolly and blankets were inside the box.

PIERRE BCe n'est pas les établissements qui m'a déçu c'est plutôt uhaul .j'ai demandé de laissé la remorque au plus près dépositaire.jai appelé chez uhaul et après environ 3 transfert et 1heure d'attente pour me faire dire que je n'ai pas le choix pour le retour a environ 150 km de chez moi quand un depositaire est a environ 40 km . Par contre la remorque c'est bien rendu à destination.

David BWell I shall off by saying 1) we reserved the truck and trailer 2wks ago never got a call or email to make sure it was still available my son had to call on the Fri and finding out nope no records of this truck or trailer to be rented 2) tires were terribly used and they were summer tires not winter 3) the wipers were summer not winter 4) windshield washer was summer not winter and the solution would freeze on the windshield with wipers accumulating with ice 5) we had to stop so many times to take the ice off the wipers this one time we stop we got stuck at the bottom of a hill and we had to pay for a towing 100$…6) the electrical for the lights weren’t working all the time…So if someone asks me how good is UHaul I would Mot Competent Not Trust Worthy and Not Safe.It Was a Very Stressful Event when you can’t see out of your windshield the building up every 5mins.. Anyways that’s my point.Never recemending to a Friend Sorry.
Marcel PBetter knowledge on how to work with their own rental uhaul internet site, so that the client does not receive a supprise at the end of his trip! Double the copies of rental contract in case the dropping rental location would be close, so that the client has a copy and the receiving rental location has a copy to, beside what was mention above a good service!

Bruno GGuys that work there didn't even knew how to rent the trailers. Had to call the boss(probably owner) of the gas station, make him come over in order to fill the paperwork. The (Open)trailer had 3-4 feet of snow in it. Had to shovel out the snow ourselves, in order to male the equipement road-legal. Lightweight and sturdy trailer. Would recommend, if it wasn't about the service we had this day.
