My reservation was supposed to be at another location, and I validated 3 times prior during the same week it would be there. 1 hour before I was to pick up I was called and notified they couldn't help me and I had to call the Uhaul 800 number. I was moved to this location farther away at the last moment, and the people barely spoke English. Terrible experience all around.MICHAELANDREW B.

Noone told me when my pickup location was changed that the location did not open until 8 and a code was not given to utilize the lock box also I reserved a furniture dolly and an appliance dolly and they did not have the appliance dolly. This location was extremely disorganized and the truck only had a quarter tank of gas in it.Michele M.

We had to ask for assistance to make sure that the trailer was on correctly. In spite of the guy coming out to help us with the trailer, the trailer came off of the hitch while we were driving down the road. We were able to place it securely on the hitch again but I think that the hitch mechanism is not catching securely. The female who checked us in was using her personal phone to send out the information to Uhaul - including credit card information. In the 40 years that I have used Uhaul, this is the worst location that I have been in. The people there need training in hooking up trailers as well as customer service.Sarah L.

the store opened two and a half hours late causing my family to miss a funeral service for my moms sister and we weren't there for my my mom i tried to file a complaint and uhaul has never got back to me not acceptable not professional i will advertise my misfortune with this company at every opportunity they lied and said they would get back to meRONALD T.
I was picking up an auto trailer, and was redirected to this facility the day I was to pick it up. Once at the facility, I was told that they did not do hook-ups, and I was on my own. I had to plead with her to at least help me back up to the trailer. After we got the trailer connected to the rental truck, she helped me hook up the chains. I was suspicious of how they were connected so I stopped at U-Haul of Salisbury Maryland(where I was originally to pick up the trailer) to check out the chains. They said the chains were incorrectly attached and redid them properly. They also taught me how to secure the car onto the trailer( which the girl at Service General did not know how to do. I strongly suggest that you do not send people to this location for trailer hook ups!!!!JEROME H.

I have been renting vehicle for over 40 years. In the past U-Haul was not at the top of my list for moving trucks. However this rental has been my best experience ever with U Haul. Scheduling was nearly flawless. With the exception of the truck being 6 FT larger than was promised the experience could not have been any better.keith L.

I took the time to register on line. When I went to pick up the truck the agent was having all kinds of problems with the system. She had to re-enter all my information.I had to wait 30 minutes for everything to be resolved. Returning the truck was no problemLinda S.
Very Inconvenient then charged an after hours fee? For them sending me to a location that was closed.., waiting on hold for 20 mins while theny find a new place even farther from where we wanted to deliver.. Will never use uhaul again. I rented a trailer/vehicle transporter, while the unit was functional it had quite a bit of damage and my main concern were the well worn tires but I was assured that if I had any issues on the road the Uhaul road service team would come out to solve the problem. Again, too far. I had to drive a two hour round trip to return it. The location was a parking lot because it was a weekend and scheduled to be back at 9am. So i could have gone when they were open but the distance on a monday morning would have caused me to miss work.KELLY M.

Pickup took forever because both of the women in the office were eating and on the phone. No one explained drop off, which has changed a lot since the last time I rented a uhaul. They should have explained that to check out after hours you need to take pictures of the dash and the truck so people know not to put the keys in the drop box until they are done the mobile return process. I'll rent from one of the other 20 local locations before I rent from this one again.Crystal J.

Location was not our choice, rather this is where we HAD to go to get equipment - 60 miles is a bit much. Also we are not from that area, so we doubt we'll have to recommend any U-Haul location to friends in that region, thus the n/a rating.Jodie R.
The staff here only do paper work. They are absolutely no help when there is a problem with connecting to a u-haul trailer. The locking mechanism on one trailer was broke. It couldn't lock to the ball on the hitch. I will never us this location again. this was 1st and last time. It was a horrible experience. The worst experience I've ever had with u-haul.Amy R.

I was sent an email saying my tow dolly was ready to be picked up. When i arrived they had no idea or reservation for me. once i showed them my email & gave my home number they seemed to find it. had to wait for a rep as no one was present upon arriving. no signage to indicate the u-haul desk area. Then very little help in hooking up & I found the fender on one side to have damage which needed reported. Lady was nice enough but service below average at best. disappointed i had to pick up my dolly at this location when i was picking up a car in Ocean City.When i called the local number i was told "we are only 23 miles away. Do they not know about Google Maps?? I had checked the location & mileage prior to the phone call I made. Closer to 50 miles away.. Was not happy with the pick up location from the start.GREG H.
