The parking lot has a lot of cars in various states of repair and the drop off area is crowded. I have used this location 4 times this year and plan to use them again. The staff was friendly and checked to make sure everything went well.Douglas S.

U-haul its self is the problem. Shade Tree Automotive was fantastic and very helpful. I make a reservation at a different location, and get there and they have no trucks? Why is u-haul letting me reserve a truck without checking with the location first? Then I go to shade tree and he helps me out. U-haul as a company is AWFUL. I will never use a u-haul product again.Brandon B.

Remove the Location in Laurens, SC at High Tech Automotive. The man never showed up to let us get the truck that is why we were sent to Shade Tree Automotive. He will give you a bad reputation and I will let people know to never use him for a pick up point.TIM W.

I reserved this trailer a couple of weeks before pickup. It was to be at another town. I called the dealer on Friday before pickup on Saturday. They confirmed it was there and waiting. The dealer called me back 10 minutes after my call to tell me that someone else reserved the trailer also from three miles away. I had to travel 6.5 hours to get a trailer from a service that was not in my plan. The stated appointment time was for noon Saturday. I arrived at 12:15. The dealer in Laurens told me that he had to leave at 12:30. After he filled out the paperwork., je pointed to the trailer and promptly left with checking the trailer and loading it to myself. I am very disappointed with the way U-Haul managed my reservation, and can not say that I am very happy with this transaction.stan S.

Call first to make sure someone is there. I didn't and while signs said â€œyes we are openâ€ they weren't. So I called and got instructions as to where to leave trailer. Man on phone was very nice. The place has many cars sitting without license tags.Mark B.

My wire harness was broken. The man gathered tools and parts and repaired it. It took him about a half hour, when he was finished I asked how much did I oue him and he replied nothing. You don't find that kind of helpful neighborly type of people anymore. I was very impressed by his willingness to helpe me and not gouge me for money. Very hornable man and represents uhalul at the top of his class.Angelo D.

The invoice generated from your central office billed me twice for the same item.The local Agent repeatedly tried to get the approximately $50 corrected and the overcharge backed out and a new invoice sent, but apparently was told the individual who took care of such problems hadn't yet arrived for work. The local agent entered in handwriting on my invoice that a rebate was due me,and on that basis I paid the full amount. Now I wait to see whether I will indeed promptly get my $50 back without requiring more of my time. Any hassle on U-Haul's part and obviously I won't use U-Haul againTHOMAS L.

The man was nice and poliite but the truck was old and the steering was very poor. The truck ran well and the brakes were good but the steering was POOR. Our location to pick up the truck was changed to Shade Tree Auto and he did give us 20 extra miles since it was further away from our original pickup location. Again the man was helpful and nice but the truck was poor.Louise M.

Have equipment where promised, and on hand. Probably will check with your competitors first next time, not happy with "this is one of the most moved weekends, so I cannot give you any discount for the inconvenience. We could rent the truck to someone else no problem." I was essentially told to take it or leave it, after I made the reservation a month in advance. Not happy at all....DAVID G.

I arrived during business hours and noone was there. I tried to call the phone number on his sign and noone answered. The location looks like a junkyard. I was afraid to leave the equipment there for fear of damage or incident between when it was dropped off and when they arrived to discover it there. I have used UHaul repeatedly and this was by far the worst location I have ever seen anywhere in the country.JOSEPH H.
