even though a reservation was made this is the 2nd time in less than 2 weeks that nothing was ready when we arrived and calls had to be made. truck was turned in way before it was due and somehow someone decided to add on a charge for safe move which we didnt order and did not want. people on uhaul line say they gotta talk to guy at store to fix and a day later guy at store says he has to talk to uhaul to fix. someone PLEASE FIX IT! still isnt fixed! very unhappy

Linda MThis location is a Marathon gasoline station. The employees were busy checking out customers when I arrived - there was no one to help me unhook the car dolly from my pickup truck. I am 77 years old. Although I am 77 I am quite fit for my age. The tongue weight of the dolly is considerable - I could have easily injured myself lifting the tongue off of the trailer ball. Shortly after I managed to unhook the dolly a relatively small man came to back the dolly into a parking space. He declined my offer to help him move the dolly. He struggled greatly to move the dolly. He could have easily injured himself - a workman's compensation claim in the making.

elizabeth hI got charged for a missing dolly that I returned with the truck. It was in there. I called and the owner confirmed it was returned and contacted Uhaul to issue a refund, an employee error in checking the trucks properly caused this. I got the refund pending but it will not clear through my bank until the next business day which is Tuesday after the holiday weekend, which I can wait for but I can imagine someone else might be put in a difficult position by this if they just incurred other moving cost, for this reason I couldn’t in good conscience recommend anyone go here, they didn’t do a walk around with me upon arrival which I think was ultimately what created this discrepancy.

Alan BI returned the truck a day earlier then it was due and was actually charged an extra day by the manager at the store because he apparently didn’t check it in until 2 days later. I was told by the counter guy just to leave the keys and I gave him a screenshot of the gas and mileage. Only to receive an email 2 days later with an extra day charge. This is not ok and I hope no one uses this location
Lorin MThe lady behind the counter called someone on the phone and asked me all the same questions that were a part of the reservation (address, miles, etc) and relayed them to the other person on the phone. (Why would I have to repeat everything that was already set up. We waited about 15 minutes and then she proceeded to give us a key and told us to look for the truck in the lot. NO PAPERWORK was given to us. Just the key. Since we had no paperwork, there were issues with drop off. I also told the lady that we did NOT need the dolly when we picked up the truck and she failed to give us a credit. It was taken care of at drop off.

Nawal HThe whole process was horrible . 1. They had to switch me locations due to them not having the truck I needed . 2. At the other location it took forever for them to find my reservation . 3. They clerk didn’t know how to operate uhaul transactions and she called her boss which he had to take a payment over the phone, which was sketchy. 4. After they finally found my reseveration, they didn’t have a dolly I had paid for and never received a refund. 5. When I got the keys , the truck was blocked in and behind 3 other uhauls. the clerk then told me, that I was responsible to move the trucks that were blocking my reservation.
Aliyah BWhen we dropped off the truck the fellow behind the desk said he was not the one to check the truck in. Huh! but they do it like this all the time, he said/ The person to check the truck in was not there, so we had to leave it in the care of the cashier. So he told us where to park it. After everything we just wanted it all to be done with. I don't know if they checked it in our the field manger did. We called and told her the situation, and sent her the pictures we took of mileage and miles. Again Thank you Adrien.

derek lMy reservation was shifted to this location - they had the truck and the hand truck, but not the furniture pads or furniture dolly I reserved. Additionally "the guy" that handled the Uhauls was not there so I had to wait awhile until he arrived. then I had to go to the original location to get the dolly and they also didn't have the furniture pads I had reserved, so I had to purchase my own at additional cost. overall it added stress to the whole experience as I was down to pick up some family heirlooms from my deceased father in laws apartment, and was on a very tight time frame.

samnang e$58+ for 7 miles & 45 minutes was higher than I expected and I put in $10 of gas. They just said thank you with a smile. I went away with a feeling of being taken advantage of but their service was fast and the equipment was clean
Steve SSorry, the location was as accommodating as they were able to be but the whole experience was way too dramatic and expensive. There are other options and I encourage people to explore them aggressively. They didn't sell any kit to allow trailer lighting attachment, no hitch bulbs, I had to instead pay another 400$ for a drive able truck, in addition to the wasted 109$ on a tow trailer. 9mpg. And they charged me 55$ for not filling the tank to half full when it was on a quarter when I picked it up. Worst experience ever, the only way it could have been worse was to have literally been physically raped during the process, as I was raped in every other sense.

Philip MMy reservation was switched to this location (no explanation). Never answered phone (later found out store phone was not working, for three days maybe more). When I got there, no trailer. Customer service was non existent at this place and at the original place of reservation. Finally asked and settled for a lesser trailer and made it work. But no one knew or tried to make it right. I wasn't happy.

The manager, Micky, at this location, Squires Road, was nice enough to come in to the store on his time off to rent us the truck that night. He was kind about it and they were very understanding when we ended up needing the truck 3 days longer than planned. Checking in was very easy too. Overall it was an excellent experience.

amber hThe entire operation seems shady. The owner wasn’t there for pick up, and the employees aren’t trained to do it. Took 30 minutes to call uhaul and have them do it remotely. Owner was there for the return, he didn’t look at the vehicle until I requested he did. It is worth it to drive to a different city to pick up vs renting from this place.

Ouffoue JUpon arrival to the location I was required to make my reservation online, that the representative could not assist me in person, this was not an issue for me but upon completion I showed the rep my reservation code and was told to wait for my keys. At this time the representative stated she needed to make a call to her boss to ensure the truck was not already reserved for someone else, and was on the phone with this person for approximately 45 minutes, the representative then hing up the phone and told me to wait for her boss to arrive in another 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes a gentleman walks in, goes behind, and then offers me a set of keys for the truck. Overall I was treated very rudely and required to wait over an hour at this location for a truck rental, my reservation was for 7pm and I was not handed keys until after 8pm.

Ricky RReserved dolly but no dolly available. I had to make several calls to get that put in the notes. Shamrock did not know how to modify the contract. Reserved 24 furniture pads, received one bag of 6. Worst customer experience in a very long time.
