The entire process of an "automated kiosk" combined with woefully inadequate vehicle tracking forced us to 3 locations the morning of pickup and I lost 4 hours just to traveling to a location that actually had our truck. The individual at Sheds Of Effingham was very helpful so this is not an inditement against him.... just the mothership of UHaul. Of the 3 locations, Shed of Effingham was the only staffed location. In short, customer service cannot be abrogated to kiosk!!!

The problem is that this was not the original or expected rental pickup when making the reservation I was told the pick up would be in Savannah called and confirmed the Tuesday before the pick up date Called Friday the day before the pick up to check times and..... I was told "there is no truck there" what?? what if I didnt call, what would have happened??? The lady on the line had to look for an available truck, which was 26 miles and 45 minutes away. The gentleman Charles at the pick up spot was delightful and helpful, but he didnt have the correct communication about our arrival either. This was a very disappointing experience and I would not recommend Uhaul
CRYSTAL HI dropped off after hours so I don't know if the people would have been helpful or not.
