LIZA CEnsure van is maintained - tire pressure was very low and dash lights were on. I waited over 30 minutes after processing the pick up because they couldn’t find the key. They double charged me after drop off and then told me they couldn’t help me and needed to call Uhaul directly.
Jessica BUpon pick up truck was covered in snow despite not snowing with the past day or two and iced over. In side the cab was clean, but I would expect them to remove the snow off of the truck for clients.

Tammy MDrop off location had no jack to take trailer off. We had to do it ourselves lift off amd set on ground. No chalk for tires - hope it stayed after we left. As for customer service on the phone… we had to use a different drop off location and the rep called to inform us of this but when we were trying to see if would work for us he hung up on us

Mike BThe car hauler I rented has numerous large X indicating where damage was prior to my rental. My understanding is that the larger the X, then the larger the area or greater degree of damage. At drop off the agent indicated that minor scratches adjacent to the X were not noted. She indicated that I should have taken pictures to prove that they were there. Even if I had caused them (I didn’t) she was pointing out scratches the size of a hair. Given the number of X’s, I found her to be petty and that O was guilty since I couldn’t prove otherwise. I recommend other customers pay for the insurance as I did. Having said that, I find U-Haul attempts to charge for cleaning and minor wear and tear to be excessive and high handed.
Jim BThe gas station environment meant that it took a half hour to check out. Using this location next time I would do a pre-check in as the attendant was trying to serve customers and check me out and get additional items such as the moving dolly and moving blankets.

Michael WOverall - cost was not flexible. I picked up the unit at 10am and dropped same day at 4pm yet paid a 2 day rate which I was clear I didn’t need. Also I returned the vehicle with more gas than I found it yet I still got an added charge for $5 for going 4 miles more than I was allowed?? Really?? Would expect more flexibility on rate and some common sense applied. I returned the truck early so potentially that truck could go out again today and you would double dip…seems unfair.

vicki sWasn't the trailer I wanted to book. When I searched online, I selected a 12x6 trailer with loading ramp. I wasn't aware until I drove 25 mins to the location to pick up that it had changed to an 8x5 enclosed trailer. Made for what was already an incredibly stressful day to be even more stressful. But was stuck and had no choice. But now have to make return trip to Oshawa which is 2 hrs one way for me. And the actual $140 dollar cost was a bit of a shock when the reservation order said $30, but again, I was desperate and had no choice but to do it at the time. Found out later that there could have been military pricing but wasn't aware at the time.

hugh rThe agent on site did not seem to understand their part of the process and held us up for over an hour. It took me 6 phone calls and over 2 hours of my valuable time to get it all organized and straightened out. The vehicle we rented was in excellent condition and we had no problem with the equipment. All the customer service representatives over the phone were fabulous, courteous and considerate. I was able to address the issues with them and we came to an acceptable resolution.

Michael BI was unable to upload my driver's license to your website when I placed the order. I have never been able to do this, so I waste time at pickup having the attendent do this. In general, I have always found the U-Haul website to be the slowest of all the sites I do business with.

Jessica FLocation was almost 2 hours from the location I reserved the truck at. Truck was not the size that had been reserved. Will not be renting through Uhaul again, as they will change your entire rental the day before and their explanation is “that is the truck and that’s where it is”.
Michael LOur original on-line booking was not available just days before our original pick up. Closet location for pick up was still 30 minutes away. plus we were not able to do a one-way. We found the phone check in terrible and went inside to speak to a person which was much better.

RONALDM MNeeds someone to actually be there to inspect vehicle inside and outside and answer any questions. Had to spend over 1 hour on the time and spoke to multiple people until they could fix my reservation and I was able to pick up the keys to the vehicle. The inside of the vehicle was dirty.
Behzad RMake sure the quote is the same for the customer and the franchise. I wasted over an hour in clearing this up. The franchise quoted me an amount double to what I had been quoted. I had to call the uhaul 800# and was on hold for ten minutes, then dropped to someone new to go through the whole thing again. I am not impressed with uhaul or this location. I will try to find alternatives to this in the future. This location would be improved by having them better informed of the procedures and ensuring a timely processing of customers. I wasted over an hour of my time whereas this could have taken about ten minutes to completion.
Richard MPicking up the trailer took 30 minutes of waiting for the clerks phone to load the uhaul website. The trailer was dirty and full of snow. The clerk did not know how the trailer should be attached. Very disappointing experience.

Chris BClerk was very confused and took 45 minutes to process my pick up. Following the move, the same location but a different clerk was leaving at 840 pm, when the hours clearly state they were open until 9pm advising he would process my bill in the morning. I received an invoice that had charged me two days instead of one. I called the location and was told to call back as they didn't have time to speak with me. I called back a second time and was again told the same thing. I then called the corporate number and the additional credit card charge was immediately reversed. I am not sure what is happening at this location but it appeared to me that I was being purposely overcharged.......not happy as moving is stressful enough as it is without adding this problem!!!!!
