Dear U-Haul Management, I am writing to commend the outstanding service I received from Delasha at your Mighty Midget Mart in Charlotte NC - location when I rented a Sprinter van for two days for my family reunion. My experience with Delasha was truly exceptional, especially considering the challenges we faced. I arrived late for my reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, and the location was also experiencing significant internet issues. While another representative seemed less pleasant, Delasha maintained her composure with remarkable professionalism and provided customer service of the highest quality. She never made me feel uncomfortable or stressed about my tardiness, and she handled the situation with the utmost respect, ensuring everything ran smoothly and efficiently despite the technical difficulties. I was also disappointed to discover upon dropping off the Sprinter that she was still experiencing internet issues. I can only imagine how stressful this must be, as we now live in a society where so much relies on internet connectivity. Despite this ongoing challenge, Delasha continued to provide quality service with a smile. charlotte pTell headquarters to please stop changing pickup locations. When someone requests a location it should be that location unless the reservation is made shortly before pickup. When someone reserves a truck or trailer weeks in advance it is frustrating.

MATTHEW JLocation was crowded with a large amount of inventory. Large convenience store, with multiple gas pumps with other retail businesses attached to the C-store. Hard to park a large truck. I requested a drop-off closer to my last stop. Had to drive another 45 minutes to the one U-Haul specified.
MARSHALL GThe customer service agent was EXCELLENT and helped me out a lot since this was my first time ever doing this. She did say the truck was half full of gas and it would have to be that way when i turned it back in but the gas was just a little below half full but I did not make an issue out of that.

Jully NI was offered the Equipment Distribution program. I was pleased to accept. However, I was given wrong information that a 2” ball would be provided for the car hauler. I was clear it would towed with my truck and specifically asked if a 2” ball/stinger would be provided and told yes. However, the rental location advised they were independent and I’d have to buy the 2inch ball and stinger! Fortunately I had one on the truck. This situation should not happen under the Distribution program!!

CESAR GI made a reservation 2 1/2 weeks before I needed the truck. I reserved a 26' truck. When I arrived at 945 Eastway Drive in Charlotte they did not have it because a customer had not returned it yet. They sent me to a second location at 6216 Albermarle Road in Charlotte, they did not have one either. So this office sent me to a THIRD location to pick up a 20' truck because that's all they had available. Everyone at each location was very nice and helpful. It should have not taken me 2 hours and 3 different UHaul places to pick up a truck that I reserved ahead of time. Then only to get a 20' truck when I reserved the 26". Why even have a online reservation service if it doesn't even work.

GIOVANNI CThe attendant has very little knowledge of the equipment. A customer with less towing knowledge would have had a more difficult time just getting going. There was also no one on location to assist. The attendant had to process the rental while also attending to their main business, which is a gas station and convenience store.

THOMAS WStop giving customers trucks when you know the truck got engine problems, transmission problems. Truck sounding like it's about to break down on the highway. I promise you if anything would have happened to me or my daughter's that we're in that death trap of a truck, OMG. Second time it's happened. Then you got the nerve to say if anything happens to our truck I gotta pay 550000 dollars. If something would have happened to my daughter's I would be sueing U-Haul for 55 million..
MUSTAFA FTruck was dirty and fuel mark was lower than what was on the contact. When returned with more than the amount I was still charged. Next time I will just rent directly from Uhaul.
Abdullah CU-Haul changed my location for pickup the night before which is fine. Pickup and drop off was self serve easy enough. The morning of, all of my rentals were unavailable. I was not able to find moving dolly’s elsewhere until 2 hours into my uhaul reservation. Could not get ahold of anyone elsewhere or uhaul to help me. Horrible experience.

DERRICK PHorrible experience with the dolly, not the service folks fault but U-Haul, the dolly simply does not work towing Mazda cx30 or many new cars with electronic wheel controls. For Mazda the rear wheel is AWLAYS locked, can not be towed, the service folk did not know this and did not find it out after helped me connected the dolly, I only found out during my trip. Both rear tires are damaged, lucky I ran into a mechanic in the parking lot where I had to stop my trip, he helped me disconnected the wire to the rear wheel, unplugged the battery, then I can only tow it. Wasted so much time and with lots of headaches, even I called U-Haul before the trip, I have been told the dolly can tow Mazda cx30 with no issue.
