Question 2: "Was the equipment well maintained" gets a No for a visibly aged and possibly unsafe trailer (i'm not an expert but if the hidden parts are as un-refurbished as the exterior, there could be hidden problems). If this was my trailer, ai would either retire it or send it to the shop for a gut and refit. Had no problem with the location itself other than it was cluttered with junk disabled cars that keeps it from being an A, or B score. If the owner would consider moving the row of dead cars and trucks from the Uhaul area over to the junkyard side (adjacent to the office) the lot would be roomier for trailer maneuvering. CARL EI dropped off after hours, so no personnel were there. The key drop box is in an area that is well lit and very visible. There is plenty of area to park the vehicle, but some area lighting would be helpful, both for security and for ease of taking pictures for the U-Haul app.

peggy lShepard’s was great. U-Haul was awful. I reserved a truck a month in advance and the pickup was moved multiple times. I had to pick up one truck 49 minutes away from where I was originally to pick it up. I needed to rent 2 trucks for my move. The 20 ft truck I reserved wasn’t there. When I picked it up the lady I dealt with was great and knew what I had been dealing with. The 20 ft truck was dirty and was just about out of gas. The lady apologized for it. Said she just got it in. Didn’t have time to clean it up. I was ok with that because I needed the truck. The smaller truck was in excellent condition. Because of what happened with the 20 ft truck I don’t know if I would ever rent a U-Haul truck again.

Ryan FI asked for assistance with hooking up and I was told they cannot guarantee someone can hook it up. They also stated that they would be checking it before I leave and taking a picture. When they checked and took the picture, they missed the fact that it was not secure. The trailer came off the hitch when I hit a small bump and grazed my vehicle. Thankfully I was not on a main road and no other vehicles, people or property were injured or damaged.
Kristina MStaff member made us get back in the UHAUL and drive it over to another location on their lot to park it and made us unhitch the tow dolly for them. Totally unacceptable when it's their job to arrange their inventory upon drop off.

Steven SI did not have an issue with Shepards. I did have a huge issue with my equipment not being at the pick up location that uhaul told me it would be at. I had reserved a truck to be at street sounds and tint on western blvd in jacksonville. A day prior to pick up, i get a text to pick up at a different location a few miles out of my way. Then when i drive to pick it up, the person working says they do not have that truck available. Ridiculous! He has to call around to find me a new truck. When he does find one, it was 12 more miles out of the way in Sneads Ferry. Luckily they had one. This was very unprofessional and really took away alot of my time. I will not be a return customer.
