The motorcycle trailer I rented was covered with oil. Not clean at all.KEVIN H.
There was a notice on dashboard that right rear tire needed air. I drove from location to office, a few miles, and by the time I arrived the tire was flat as a flitter. I did not use the van to transport anything. Suggestion: Have some restraint when dolly is placed in the back to keep it from rolling around and flying around in the back. Upon arrival, I called the location where van was rented and they could not do anything concerning UHaul. I called UHaul who provided number for roadside assistance. They also said I could use my personal roadside assistance even though I had purchased insurance which included roadside assistance. I would appreciate reimburse due to not using the van for transporting boxes to storage unit.ALICE P.

The location was fine. The overall experience with u haul was horrible. Starting off the website for reservations was put together by an intern with no web based training. Then I go to the first location to pick up the truck I ordered and the site has no one there. They decided not to come to work that day. Then u-haul gets me another site and it was ok but the experience as a whole was a nightmare. Hopefully I will never have to use your service again.PHILIP S.

Just awful. Look for a better moving service. I guarantee it will be better than this greedy company trying to squeeze you of every penny it possibly can. I drove to the dropoff location it stated only to find out they changed it without notification. I will never use this company again. I only used it in the first place because I have never moved cross country before, and I am not impressed at all. I feel like I was charged 3x more than what I experienced. Do not use this service. Wait times at the counter are not acceptable. Staff is not polite or considerate. Will not recommend this small shop to anyone. Was charged an additional full day for returning 5 minutes late. So inconsiderate.AJ A.

They charged me double for The trailer and then told me I was 20 min late so charged me for a entire extra day. Unwilling to work with me and didn't know what they where doing on the software and took forever. Manager told me he would fix it and then didn't and the lady working told me he wasn't there so...... Will never ever rent from U-Haul again. Terrible terrible customer service! Will tell everyone what happened because they didn't resolve anything for me!Jeff B.

The location I was sent to drop off the trailer was a total of 40 miles away from my house. Nobody was at the place. Your app took for ever because of low cell services caused by the storm. There is probably 20 U-Haul locations within a 10 mile radius of my house and Iwas sent to one that was far out and not open!!!!WILLIAM O.

They said my truck was returned at 12:02 P.M. when it was returned at 9:53 A.M. My truck was reported late and I was charged an extra $40 as a result. Robbing people is super shady, guys. This shop will never receive my business again.Olivia B.
First of all, I rarely write reviews, but this was ridiculous. The equipment was fine but the experience was horrible. I completed the checkin first thing in the morning and waited for my instructions to access the equipment myself after hours. I called the location several hours beforehand, asking for my instructions. He assured me I'd have them soon before my scheduled pickup. I received a call about 30 minutes before my appointment from customer service, advising this location was closed and I needed to change locations. I told her I just spoke to the guy a few hours earlier. She called me back and said to stay the course but I wouldn't need to self checkout because he'd be there to dispatch for me. My appointment was at 5pm. I got there at 4:55pm. Nobody was there. I called and the guy sent me a text saying he'd be there soon, he was on the other line with his insurance company. He didn't get there until 20 minutes later. Then, my pre checkin wasn't available and our drivers license numbers weren't reading as valid. It was a complete mess. What should have taken 5 minutes, since I checked in ahead of time, took an hour. It was a very frustrating experience. I'll never use UHaul again.Daniela B.

Hated that we had to do the check in and out online took 30 minutes of our use time to do that. Time should start at the end of check in. Rather deal with a live human. Had to add another card just to pay an extra couple of bucks for mileage.Mark H.

very bad experience, the truck was not what we wanted/needed, we asked for a 10' truck and were given a 15' truck that was not locked and had to go through a very long wait on the telephone, we were given the code to get into the drop box and after a very long wait, got a very late start movingPatrick B.

I am an older person and I have been renting trucks on and off throughout my life while I moved around and this Uhaul location is the best I have ever encountered. The woman in the office was very kind and knowledgeable and she gave me a great deal on a 20-foot truck. The truck was great because I think it was new. The air conditioning worked great. I have a spinal injury and usually it's very difficult to open the the big back door on the trucks and it's even harder to pull out the ramp but on this truck all of that was very easy to do and it didn't aggravate my pain. I will definitely rent from them againsusan M.

I had looked online at trailers. Received notice that a local u haul would contact me on Wednesday. Never did. So, we Called around on phone. Spoke with guy. Went to wrong location. They were unable to find reservations. Passed 2 real U-Haul locations. Found correct location. Auto repair shop. Arrived late. The reservation was not complete which was why it couldn't be located online. Woman inside nice. Unable to hook up lights. Needed 7pin to 4 pin adapter. Unable to to really check it out. Drove with trailer to nearest auto supply. Purchased adapter. Left rear lights, brake lights not working. Wiring inside trailer shot. Received text from U-Haul to confirm trailer condition. Unable to complete because no pictures of trailer. This meant I was accepting trailer as is. Very unhappy. Went back to Shifters. Guy said to call U-Haul. Not his problem. Wouldn't recommend renting from here.caroline P.

I was overcharged after the fact. The person in charge at Shifters tried to refund my money for the overcharged amount. He said it would take a couple of days. Now I have been charged again making my checking account negative. I have tried calling the Uhaul customer service number but cannot speak to anyone. Please fix this mess. This location was fine but the billing was all messed up on u-halls end. They charged an extra fee for dropping the u-hall off at the wrong location as it was incorrectly entered as an intown move instead of a one way trip. After disputing the charge, it was dropped but the end price was still over $80 more than the original estimate and no one at u-hall can explain why. I do one recommend U-hall.Marcus E.
I had reserved a 26 ft truck a week before I needed it, when I got there to pay for it they didn't have one only the 20 ft which I went ahead and got. Then they didn't let you know I returned it and tried to tell me that I had to pay for two days when I returned it in less than 24 hours. I spoke directly to Uhaul to get this corrected.patricia C.
