It’s the only one in Santa Rosa. Very small. No one available when the person goes out for lunch. Mary at central was wonderful. I dealt with her several times over the course of our trip from Ottawa Ontario Canada to Phoenix Arizona USA and EVERYTIME she was not only pleasant, she ALWAYS solved our problems (we had a few). Joel HernandezThis location was good and accommodating. I can't say the same about the Clovis, NM location. Had multiple UHaul employees lie to me and push the problem away. I reserved a 26' truck and was told by one employee that there are no reservations but "place holders" for equipment. I was told a 26' truck was not available but a 20' truck was available for me to use at my location. Went to pick that truck up and was told by an employee that it was at a different location. A location that only deals with trailers. Ended up having to drive 25 mins away to pick up a 26' truck that had a coolant tank leak. I called roadside assistance and was told the Clovis location had a 26' truck I could pick up the following morning. The next morning I went to get the truck and was met by a rude employee at the Clovis location. I did not get a truck at the Clovis location as described to me but had to drive 2 hours to get a truck, paying for expenses out of pocket, there and back to my house. I was told I would be compensated for those expenses yet I haven't heard anything from UHaul. Overall, my experience was terrible and had to jump through hoops and push my timeline back due to being told lies by multiple UHaul employees. The customer service from actual UHaul locations was below acceptable but from locations that only rent out uhaul equipment as a side project, they were helpful. I wish I didn't have to use UHaul again but given my current location, I have no choice. I have another "place holders" for equipment coming up and I am not looking forward to what types of problems I may incur. If there are any leadership within UHaul that would like to reach out to me and discuss this, please feel free to, however, I feel that if the employees who directly deal with customers act in this manner, Im sure higher ups won't care as long as the money keeps rolling in.
James AyersSmall parking lot adjacent to a hotel parking lot. Was able to find a spot to park the large UHAUL. Dropped vehicle off on the weekend so we left keys in drop box. Drop box is convenient when staff isn’t present!

Roxanne MartinezRenting from UHaul is filled with good and bad moments. Most all the people we were in contact with were outstanding, with one or two dealer exceptions. Martin in San Antonio, Jerry in Santa Fe were really great representatives of UHaul. UHaul’s pricing policies are frustrating. 1. Change your pick up date from Thursday PM to Friday AM and my price went up almost 20%. 2. Return trip price for the same equipment Was 56% higher than original. Had to drive personal vehicle 189 miles to secure rental at same price. Upon arrival the equipment for AM pickup was not available until late PM and we drove another 150 miles to complete rental.

Victor LopezQuoted $54 for trailer, $40 for insurance, and $11 for taxes. My card was charged $151 total. Employees of uhaul attached the trailer and left both the chains and wires dragging on the ground. The wires were destroyed, and I had to pay to replace them the next day when I was hundreds of miles down the road. Was traveling from New Mexico to California. Been using uhaul trucks and trailers for over 30 years, never had any problems before. Certainly didn't expect to be overcharged, nor such shoddy work. Uhaul is a company I've grown to trust, and I will in the future because they have earned it. I Do Not recommend this location, they have earned nothing but scorn.

Ernest SalazarThe woman who works the counter did not have my paperwork ready although I had called the day before and confirmed my arrival time. The dealer does not sell trailer hitch balls. The same woman told me twice that the ball size was 2-1/2 inch. This was wrong. I did have to travel a ways to purchase a hitch ball. The trailer wheels were dirty with weeping bearing grease and road dirt. Still, the trailer pulled flawlessly behind my Forrester.
