With only an hour left before I could pick up my rental, I received a call from your West Colfax location saying that they no longer had a truck for me. When I called customer service, nobody could tell me whether or not there was a truck available. I kept getting transferred and disconnected. Finally on my 4th attempt at calling your customer service, someone was able to find me a truck, but sent me directions to the wrong location. I WILL NEVER GIVE U-HAUL BUSINESS AGAIN. PENSKE AND BUDGET IS WHO I WILL WORK WITH MOVING FORWARD. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND U-HAUL TO ANYONE. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.

I initially rented the truck for two days. I wanted to keep it longer, so I called and extended the rental for a few more days. After that, I called again and extended the rental for another week. On that occasion, I called the rental location, but the call was redirected to the national center. I arranged for a weekly rate that was considerably lower than the daily rate. I called again to extend for another week and again arranged for the lower weekly rate. When I returned the truck, they wanted to charge me $1,000, which was hundreds of dollars more than I should have owed. The man at the location, who was quite sullen and non-communicative, told me that they didn't offer a weekly rate and that they had no indication that I had spoken to the national center. They didn't offer to call the national number, so I had to do it. The service center people suggested that I pay the $1,000, which I did and wait for a refund while they researched the issue. When I paid the money, I was surprised that I didn't have to physically give them my credit card, because they had kept the information. The issue still hasn't been researched and it has been weeks. I've sent e-mails and there has been no response. When I checked my credit card statement, I see that my credit card was charged random amounts repeatedly during the rental period. I'm not impressed by the location or by U-Haul's response to the problem.

I was told the vehicle was at 3/4 of a tank when I picked it up and I was to return the truck at the same fuel level. The truck however was only at 5/8 of a tank when I drove off the lot. As a courtesy, I filled the tank to 7/8. Had hoped for a reduction on the overall cost because of this but that didn't happen.

The Trailer we got had a smell. It would have been good for them to open the trailer before it was hooked up and we drove off. Did not see the inside of the trailer till we got home. Then it was too late to return.

Holy shit. The experience was great, but the fuckin badgering emails .... Jeeessuuus. Maybe send AN email, maybe another two days later...I've gotten 5 emails from you in the last 5 hours since I returned the truck. You are a self fufilling prophecy of shitty service after you already gave great service. Maybe tweak the email bot to have a little more shame. I give 4 out of 5 buckets of dicks to your current process.

I had an online (self) reservation scheduled for a 630 am pickup time. I went to the store anticipating everything would be ready to go - I was wrong. Since the store did not open until 7am, i was unable to pickup my rental at the scheduled time causing me to miss my meeting. How can I get a reservation confirmation for a pickup time earlier than when the store opens? Ridiculous and very inconvenient. I will not be using this method again until the App/Online self Registration is fixed.

Don't have cat poop in the back of the truck and rommin noddles all over the floor in the cab. I should really get a HUGE discount for dealing with poop in my uhaul I have pictures.

Even though this was my contractually stated drop off location, there were no spots and the staff was extraordinarily unhelpful - all she kept saying was that I had to drive the truck back to the pick up location. After a very long time I was given another drop off location, which wasted my time and made moving more stressful than it already is. Will not be using Uhaul again.

Right inside tire rear blew 26 miles into our move. Sent pictures of the tire to Brandy at U haul roadside assistance. I feel like I should have a reduction or a partial refund, because of pick up place negligent on there inspection of vehicle. I feel 50% would be acceptable.

Sam the owner of the federal location was amazing. Feedback on where uhaul needs to improve- calling your reservation number was an awful experience. 3/4 people were rude to me, short and clearly underpaid and overworked. It was antiquated and hardly stream lined. I had to be transferred several times to different folks for functions that one person should have been able to help me with. After moving, I received a call from another location stating that my uhaul was ready to pick up. I already moved! If I get double charged, I won't be happy that's for sure. I'll probably look for a competent competitor next time I move.

My boxes were not handled appropriately. They were shipped to my destination. When I picked up the truck in Denver I asked the attendant why my boxes were not in the truck. He call the Uhaul office and they didn't know what we were talking about. They really should have seen that there was a mix up and that my boxes were incorrectly sent to my destination instead of the pickup location. After discussing this for 15minutes nothing was resolved. Now I am stuck with un-needed boxes at my destination where I do not need them.

The right mirror on the Uhal was broken it keept moving right I wasn't able to see anything from my right side not only that it is very dangerous to drive like that. I had to be on the phone the whole time with my partner so he can assist me changing lanes or turning right. Plus customer service at that location is well below the standard. I will not be coming back to this location.

This rental felt like a scam & a rip off. Bad business practices all the way around. For the advertised $19.99 a day for a 10 ft truck (4 hours not 24) I paid $98 & change! We paid .99 a mile not .69 & manager refused to change even though he stated .69 when HE checked us in.
