The person who made our reservation made it for the incorrect time and we were not able to get it through the app. We had to call and wait on hold for 30 minutes and the person on the phone had to change and walkthrough everything. The customer service person did a good job, it wasn't her error. In addition, we were suppose to pick up the UHaul at Redwood and was notified that day we had to drive 50 miles away to pick up the U-Haul so the entire experience to pick it up was three hours long. It was an extremely frustrating experience.

Was not the fault of the location; had reserved equipment, day before move was told it was not available, Bald tire on trailer, cab on 15 ft truck was so loose the sound of the wind was unbearable for the 8 hour trip. Transmission was not shifting well.

The check out was fine. But the man responsible for the car dolly should not be renting uhauls. He told me he did not know how to put my car in the dolly and that he had no insurance to put it on. He told me that if he did he would not be responsible for it. I know nothing about towing. I count on uhaul to have experienced people there to help. It was a scary experience to be responsible for putting my car on a dolly and knowing nothing about it. This was just wrong. I do not recommend this place unless you know how to work dollies and hitches.

Wouldn't recommend this location at all staff unfriendly, not at ALL helpful not even to borrow a wire cutter to cut plastic strip off a chain. I am 78 and not enough strength to squeeze the metal pin on tightener on wheel straps wouldn't help at all, I had to go accross street to a garage,and they couldn't help me enough, they even drove my car off the trailer. Was told I didn't rent from them they don't have to help me. When I returned the truck uhaul in Windom wouldn't even give me a receipt that truck was returned, not even a hand written note on their business card. Give them a big bold 0 on service

I had a car tow trailer and they wouldn't help disconnect the chains or wheel straps. I had no idea or strength to undo the chains or straps.

We were told by the White Bear Ave location our deposit would be refunded at the time of drop off. They drop off said no it would be mailed to us. The deposit is $100.00 that I don't have and now I am being forced to wait for it to be mailed back to me. I just spent thousands of dollars moving. Not very happy.

Hours of operation. We didn't actually need the Uhaul until Sunday, but had to pick it up on Saturday because the location isn't open on Sunday. This resulted in us having to pay for an extra day.

The trailer I reserved was not ready/available at the location I requested. Had to go to another location further away to get it. That was a bit of a hassle because I was on a very tight schedule handling a family matter. However U-Haul notified me of this with enough advance notice that I was able to move my schedule around to go to the new location. Not a big problem overall, but it would have been nice to pick the trailer up at the location I reserved it at.

The person that signed out my truck was not properly trained on how to check me out. It was figured out by phone, causing delay. Also it took extra time to clear windshield of ice and snow, it would have been nice if truck could have been somewhat warmed up to cause less delays. A qualified U-Haul person should have been on site.

I haven't rented U-Haul's often, but the service and people at 73 24TH ST, WINDOM, MN 56101 were professional, helpful and knowledgeable. I'm a service manager setting us service teams globally, these are the kind of people I look for.

I was absolutely impressed with the service I received from Smith Appliance concerning my recent Uhaul Rental. The staff are friendly, helpful and communicated everything I needed to know about the rental. I will definitely be renting again from this Uhaul location and recommending them to others.

Emails I received from Uhaul were confusing. I had cancelled a trailer and ordered a truck instead, but the email from Uhaul said my truck had been cancelled. The employees knew what was going on and I had a truck as promised. It was easier to drive than I thought, though it was very noisy and we could not hear the radio.

I had my wife go and get a small trailer to finish our move. The lady working in the Windom store told her "The main guy" isn't in the office right now and nobody could attach the trailer to our vehicle. I had to make the trip to the uhaul location and attach everything myself, and not once did the lady come outside to check if everything was alright. Don't waste your time at this unhelpful location. The only thing this lady could do is take your payment.

Try not to mix up the trucks and give me the wrong truck. I'm glad it was taken care of and I wasn't charged for extra miles or an extra day, but it was a hassle trying to coordinate with different people on why I have the wrong truck.
