I had a frustrating experience picking up our U-Haul reservation. The representative arrived about 20 minutes after the store was supposed to open, and although he acknowledged that we were waiting, there was no apology or communication about the delay. After waiting outside, we eventually went in, only to be told we needed to provide a license even though we had already completed everything online for pickup. This was confusing, as we were under the impression the process would be quick and seamless. What was most disappointing was that after already waiting over 30 minutes, we were asked to wait again while another customer was helped ahead of us. When we were finally assisted, there was no acknowledgment of the delay or even a simple “thank you” or “have a good day.” Overall, the lack of communication and basic customer service made what should have been a quick pickup unnecessarily frustrating.
