Rented a 5x8 cargo trailer. It was ready, when I git there. Mr. Sneed is customer friendly. Everythig went smoothly on the pickup end and smoothly when I dropped it off at Hays auction House in Louisville.
geoffrey SFirstly, I reserved a 10' vehicle at my local location (Southern Auction in Hayesville, NC), which was available at the time of reservation. U-Haul then changed the location (and size of vehicle to a 15') of my reservation to a location an additional 20 miles away which resulted in more miles to and from our destination meaning more money we had to spend. Secondly, when we went to this location, there was no 15' truck available, the person at the location tried to help us but the closest truck available was an additional 30 miles away from that and would have cost far too much. Instead we had to rent a 20' vehicle from the location we were at which was more money, much worse on gas, and a struggle to fit in our driveway.

Chester EI dropped off the unit with more fuel in it than whenever I picked it up and got charged for 3 gallons of fuel. That was really shady of you to take money from my card on file. I think I will rent from another company if I need to.
MATTHEW GThe truck head lights needed adjusted. Hard to drive at night. 1 went one way and one went the other. We reported it when we took the truck to the location to turn it in.

David SNeeds new windsheild wiper on driver side, AC blew out the defroster. Noisey like door seals need replacing. Otherwise OK

James RI returned the truck at 4:45 p.m. on August 23, 2023. I was not given a receipt for the return, and the next day I received an e-mail saying it was returned on the 24th. Absolutely not true. The location was so rundown I could not tell if they were truly occupied or not, and I had to walk through a very strange area to get to the desk. I was glad I had someone with me. The lady was friendly. I will give her that.

Caitlin OStaff was very helpful and the truck was clean. The front end was very loose and steering at above 50mph was challenging at best. Also it seems like the front driver side wheel bearing may need attention there was a speed dependent high pitch noise coming from the front wheel.

NORMAN COnly downside was I only needed a tow vehicle. Was looking for a 10' truck but only 20' trucks were available. Only needed it for towing, so lots of extra room, lower mileage, bigger vehicle than was unnecessary. Doug was great to work with, especially on Easter Sunday. Was very nice to see "southern hospitality" at its best. THANKS.

David EAfter trying to rent from the Uhaul in Murphy on Highway 64, and even though we made a reservation in advance, the guy decided to not come to work and didn't have the courtesy to notify us. So, we found Sneeds Uhaul and they were very accommodating and we will use them from now on. Be aware the guy on Highway 64 is giving your company a bad name.
Carl Ewhen i got vehicle it was 1/2 full on fuel and I returned it that way . Also it was clean and I was charged extra money
April BTrailer was in good working order, but dirty inside. Needed the trailer to haul new furniture so I had to clean it first, Pickup and dropoff was easy.
VALERIE OThe self service with u haul is horrible , I register 2 -3 days before , driver license , etc, It say when I was done ready to go nothing else to do just show up (up to one hour in advanced you be able to retrieve keys, I show up 30 min in advanced:6:39 am in Saturday, now said we need to confirm llocation and need my picture of driver license again a 3 proofs of other person to be call a 6:30 am . WHO DO YOU CALL AT 6:30 am to confirm and why was not told about this in advanced, it took me one hour to retrieve key , horrible service (0 star for u haul.

Tom VU-Haul itself is the worst company anyone can use for self-moving they will leave you stranded on the side of a business interstate for over 14 hours truck undrivable and will not send any help. I advise anyone do not use this company they are out to get your money and do not care about their customers.

don dOnly problem this location didn't check in trailer trailer when I dropped it off but after I went back in lady in office was very helpful and got it all documented. Would recommend this location.

TERI HThe trucks need to be fully inspected before they leave the lot and cleaned due to this I had 2 tires blow out and left me stranded on the interstate for over 12 hours and also I have Covid due to this.
