It was very, very hard to actually find the office from the parking area. A better location instruction, a better sign to follow from the rental parking area [at 490 York Road]; The fact that when I went on-line and could not be offered ALL sizes of vehicles was a bit frustrating. However, even with all these factors: the staff was very nice, friendly and accommodating.beverly M.
Your vehicle return app should allow users to attach images from there photo collection instead of just restricting use to the camera only. I took a bunch of pics of the vehicle and odometer and left the return site. The app wouldn't let me attach them. Only would accept Live Photos.Lawrence David R.

The van had grease in the back when we picked it up and garbage in the cab. Had to lay down plastic drop sheets before loading.Carla A.
-Ensure that both doors can be opened from the outside of the vehicle. -Don't add an inexplicable charge of 400 dollars and avoid contact with the customer to resolve. -Don't take reservations for a certain size truck and inform the customer they can't have it the day before -Don't take reservations for one way travel and then inform the customer it must be two ways the day before.Nigel W.

When I dropped the vehicle off, the staff member told me to leave the key on the front desk and she would do the check-out in a moment. She said I could leave, so I did. They didn't process the closing of the contract until the next day and they charged me for 71 km when I only used 20. I didn't take a picture of the odometer at the beginning or end of my rental but apparently I should have. When I called to dispute the extra charges I was told that a manager would follow up the next day but I didn't get a call. Either they put a false reading of the km on my invoice or someone else drove that van in the afternoon after I dropped it off and it was charged to my account.Cindy E.

Just make sure you put more gas in than when you took the vehicle otherwise they will charge you a gas fee! I put gas in on my return, but apparently not enough.Karen J.

Two things - in the winter please put an ice scraper in the cab, and secondly, the floor of the cab can be quite slippery when snow gets on it. I would suggest corporate UHaul change design of cargo area floor on their trucks to the diamond pattern material rather than slippery smooth metal.Vincent D.
The staff were very good but the vehicle was unsafe. It was a very rainy day and the driver's side windshield wiper did not work. It continually got stuck on the side mirror. It was a very scary Ron from Guelph to Burlington and back!Sharon J.

Recommend snow brushes are offered to those renting in snowy weather. Truck front window and hood were snow covered and I use my sleeve to remove (not end of world but a snow brush would have been nice). Also recommend you tell drivers if the speedometer is in MPH - We are so accustomed to KM/HR in Canada we don't realize it until several minutes into driving. ThanksN-DEAN P.

Everything was great, except for some liquid (conditioner/shampoo..? from previous customer) that was on the floor inside the truck when we were loading it made it for a bit of a hazardous condition (slippery) . We cleaned it ourselves before continuing.Gabriela M.

Site was closed when I dropped off - no clear signage or procedure for drop off, which for me was fine, but for others might be less so.. Also I am missing a set of (orange) storage lock keys. Having the gas tank filled to only 3/4 makes it awkward to return with the same amount of gas. All vehicles should have a full tank of gas when picked up.daniel B.

i was seriously overcharged. the blankets i ordered werent in the vehicle and was charged anyway. they even said i returned the blankets that never existed which means they never checked the truck. the milage was way off and wouldn't let me input the correct milage even with photo evidence. no one has bothered to contact me, so unfortunately the customer service is nearly non existent. i'm so disappointed in the way this experience has gone and wouldn't be recommending uhaul to anyone i know.Liv G.

While I dropped my truck off on July 16 only 6 hours after renting it , no one could still find my info and the system once again failed , the truck wasn't logged back in until the next day Uhaul needs some serious QA on their systemsBrian K.
