Was charged for gas even though it was returned with MORE gas than was initially in the rental.

The truck was filthy, leftover food in the cup holders, trash on the floor, thick layer of grime on the steering wheel and dash board. You get what you pay for x1000.

Sophie LThe truck I rented was very, VERY dirty in the cargo hold and the cabin. I had to sweep the back out myself and had a HUGE pile of dirt. The amount of DUST left over was atrocious. I used this truck to transport my personal belongings and I feel like it wasn’t right. Please have audits of vehicles at third party U-Haul vendors because every one that I visited and rented from don’t take care of their vehicles.
Alfred GY’all need to notify the customer if the rented equipment (dolly, etc.) isn’t available at the specified location. I was counting on having a dolly when I picked up the truck and wasn’t able to get one as that location didn’t have additional equipment.

Robert BThe best thing about rental here is the staff who were all awesome, getting me sorted with my rental and simple/easy upon return. Everything else was as expected. I really liked that you could set a reservation to pickup whenever you wanted, they are open 24 hr/day.

Pedro SI don't appreciate U-haul pushing customers to only use their phone for all paperwork. The staff is friendly and the place is dependable as far as if you reserve a truck, it will be there. Thank you.

Shahinur RI requested a location that was walking distance to me. I requested the van a week in advance. They said they had it. Two days before my move they said they didn’t have the equipment so I had to spend $15 in an Uber to get to the location that did have it. Absolutely insane
Jeannie LTo make sure someone takes care of the vans. The one I rent it today was filthy dirty. Dog hair dirt all over seats were dirty. Seats were dirty. The back of the van was also dirty. I have rent it multiple vehicles. But first time with U-Haul. And today my experience wasn’t good.

Michael MContract number 97334008 The vehicle was in decent condition albeit smelly... At check out I was charged $25 for cleaning when I only used the van to take a bicycle from Brooklyn to Manhattan, and I left it the exact same way it was when I picked it up. I complaint about this over the phone with U-Haul and was assured the $25 would be removed, but did not receive any email or confirmation that the $25 charge was in fact removed.

Freddy VCustomer service was horrible at the Brooklyn Wueens Express way location. Staff was unprofessional and unorganized. Staff repeatedly calling customer over to ask for information that should have asked for during initial encounter. Staff needs big training and skill sets.

Michael BWe had a two hour delay, as the entire U-Haul computer system was down the whole morning. Really a horrible situation. Will think twice before I use uhaul again. This has nothing to do with the staff and professionalism at the location. He was great once the delay was over

So I was a little disappointed when the whole truck was covered in graffiti and I had to update each and every picture. It also wasn’t new graffiti. So maybe update some of the pictures to check the condition of the truck.
