How much you charge for a one-way rental should be affected by where your equipment is surplus. It is not our fault if one area is more popular as such should not be penalized for it!!Blain M.
The trailer was grubby and looking worn, mud splattered and needing a wash. it was serviceable but due to zero suspension and very rough riding there was considerable damage done despite very careful packing of furniture. The door of a china cabinet came off and a side panel of glass was broken. There was also no spare tire despite this trailer being used in remote areas where cell phone service was not available! Not overly pleased with U-haul's equipment quality.Leonard E.

The service at the pick up location was lacking to say the least. They were unfriendly and once I was finally given the keys, I was they sent to find my truck in a group of trucks. The one I was originally assigned didn't start, so overall not great. The drop off at 976 Goldstream was the complete opposite. Friendly and helpful and very quick. If I have rent in the future I would choose this location. I used the Goldstream location a couple years ago and the experience was good both times.Kevin S.

Have people working t the desk who know how to be informative and knowledgeable to the customers, especially first time customers. They didn't give us any information we needed, massively underestimated of mileage so the quote was way off and when we called them to sort things out because we were frustrated they hung up the phone on us. Extremely pissed off at the service we received and will never be using the uhaul location we went to again. Horrendous service.Tyson F.
Horrible I will never use uhaul after this experience and situation that happened. Booked uhaul in Victoria to have to go to sooke to get my right rental than drive back to Victoria to pack up had to return vehicle all the way back to sooke such a huge inconvenience, waste of time and money. I will pay a company to move me next time with the amount I was charged it would of been much easier.Curtis C.

I was overcharged $1,707.84 and have been emailing with the representative Shawn Sahw for over a month hand have yet to receive my refund. I believe he is incompetent. I am out A LOT of money with no promise of when it will arrive. I have tired calling Uhaul many times to PLEASE work with someone else on this refund and have been told each time that I can only work with him and have to wait for him to contact me. Which is extremely frustrating. I am a very dissatisfied customer, and will not be using Uhaul again and will never be recommending anyone to use Uhaul.Travis W.

illegal tires ( 2 totally different ones) so of course one blew while I was driving in the Rockies.. needed to wait for Kal TIre to change tire, of course they came with the wrong one as you had the wrong ( plus 2 different tires on the trailer) had to wait for him to go back and get the proper tire.. waited over 2 1/2 hrs... The 26ft truck I rented was in poor mechanical condition rattle in front end annoying chirp from engine every 15 seconds, Would be nice to feel secure driving to destination with out worrying about breakdown.James B.

I had a 26' truck arranged to pick up in Sooke and I called and reserved a smaller truck from the Goldstream location. When my husband arrived at the Goldstream location to pay for the truck they knew nothing about it. My husband spend over an hour on the phone trying to sort this out and was hung up on 4 times. I made 5 calls to U Haul and was hung up on 4 times. I am extremely upset about our whole experience and unless some compensation is sent our way I will never use U Haul again and I will spread the word as to our horrific experience. When I went to the Sooke location to pay for the 26' truck I was informed by the owner that a truck he rented out 3 days ago had not been returned and was now 2 days â€œmissingâ€. He called the customer and asked that the truck be returned or he would report it stolen. The customer agreed to bring back the truck. The customer then called back 5 minutes later to tell the owner of the Sooke location (Sooke Tool and Equipment Rental) to just report the truck stolen. This is appalling service for U Haul. After taking a Victoria Transit bus an hour and a half to get old to Sooke, because you couldn't Supply me with a 10-foot van out of a Sydney because once you get above 10 feet it's considered commercial and would have cost me $150 more to take the ferry oh, the location was closed even though it was supposed to be open, had to spend two hours on the phone with customer support trying to get the code to get the keysWayne P.

I was supposed to pick up on Topaz in Victoria. This was a terrible experience...trucks everywhere, a long line of people, and vehicles being given randomly to people without a reservation. We booked a truck 2 months in advance, had to wait 1.5 hours to get paperwork, then was told no truck we wanted existed!! Had to go to Sooke for the ONE truck available and was still not what we had reserved. I would NOT recommend the facility on Topaz at all.Robin B.
Issue with original UHaul reservation and 24/7 Pickup. Between the two problems, it took me 2 hours to pick up vehicle and I didn't even properly complete the final checks. I spent over an hour on hold with customer support. Only because in the middle of my pick up, it 'cancelled my reservation' and I needed to call customer support. Wasted my and my helps valuable time for no reason. Truck was fine (although missing lock) and drop off was quick as business was open during that time and person handled close out admin.adrian D.

Provide renters with better instructions for after hours drop-off. I had to look for the key drop box which was a little bit difficult to find in the dark. Lighting near the box would help - even a small motion detector light. Otherwise, all good.Dan W.

There was a piece of trim missing that would have covered some exposed wiring. Some duct tape would have been an acceptable temporary measure. When you reach for the seat belt, it was usual to end up with a hand full of wites!Lauren T.

Improve the information update for the potential price change if you alter the time and date of your reservation. Help customers with information to obtain liability insurance and make sure people know they are only covered for $200,000 if they do not have their own auto insurance policy!!Nancy C.
