TIMOTHY SI made the reservation on line, it directed me to 3755 Wheeler Road. I went by the location a week before the reservation and they assured me everything was ok. The day of the reservation I get there only to be told they DID NOT have the van I reserved! After an hour I was sent to the Tobacco Road location. Luckily the business owner was still there because due to the ridiculous delay I arrived shortly after 5pm and they closed at 5. I was extremely upset and annoyed with the Wheeler Road location, and I will never patronize that business again!

Chris GAggravated me for days after Keydrop/Drop Off. By Text, Emails and Multiple Calls! Then instead of straightening out their own issues with Check in, between Locations, they told me to call the other office for them and ask them to stop calling me and that the Truck had been turned in already. My God, it reminds me why people pay others to perform their move!
Joe WNeed to clearly label third lockbox. There are other two lockboxes which were clear and didn't realize the other old rusty odd sized lock box is the third one. Another issue, the U-haul app crashed three times when checking out the truck and didn't get the lock combination letters or numbers in the process. On the phone for one hour until I finally got a word about this lockbox and gave me the combination number for it. Also when checking the truck back in, at the begining of process, no picture to take and all of that steps, and indicated truck has been returned and all done... thought for a couple of minutes and doesn't make sense cause I didn't get the final bill. Decided to try it again by checking the truck in and ah-ha it worked the way it should, taking pics, confirmed mileage and fuel gauge readings and got the final bill. So overall with self 24 hours truck share program u-haul offers wasn't a pleasant experience... I will not use this again, gonna to stick with uhaul centers manned with employees to take care of the whole process.
jeff kI was charged $43.29 for moving supplied that the location did not have and when I went into the U Haul location to see about getting the charges reversed onto my card they said that they could not help me and that they never gave me any moving supplied and the manager of the location was clueless on how to help me and she stated to me that she could not do anything to help me get my money back. I have no problem paying for the rental that worked fine but I have a problem paying for something that I did not receive and now no longer need. Also when I showed up to the location on Saturday to pick up the equipment the location is closed on Saturday after I had reserved the rental for pick up on Saturday at 11am.

Alicia PWhat made the difference for me was the accountability the Area Mgr took because when I arrived to get the Uhaul it was before the location opened and I was guided to use the app to complete my rental reservation and get the truck. The app did not work properly and provide the process to rent the Uhaul at my designated time.. The Area Mgr called me directly and apologized for the inconvenience and proceeded to upgrade my truck and give me the $29.95 price for it. I really appreciate the time he took to resolve my issues with my rental and make the process smooth
Amie DEverything was almost perfect, except the rep fail to disclosed that there was a mileage limit and charge per mile after that limit. Although customers technically have a contract with the details, not every customer has the time these days to sit down and read through every word for very important information such as the mileage limit, when it literally takes a few seconds for a representative to disclose that information. The sad thing is, my wife and I would have traveled the same amount of miles regardless, because it was a military move, but at least we wouldn’t have been caught off guard with a significant additional charge.

Ron WThe people who manage it need lessons in communication. I was told to go to the trucks to see if the individual was there because the vehicle had just been returned and they weren’t. The lady kept calling his phone and he wasn’t answering and when he finally did he very nonchalantly said “I’m right outside.” I was told I was being given a $14 credit to put gas in the truck and it needed to be over 1/4 because the person before me didn’t bring it back with 1/4 in it. The truck itself in my opinion was unsafe and I expressed as much. The check engine light was on the WHOLE time. When I checked in I mentioned it and the lady said “the mechanic said if the gas cap isn’t on fully it will stay on.” The gas cap wasn’t even attached to vehicle - had I not been paying attention it would have went flying. The seats were ripped up as well as the roof upholstery was a mess. The visor on the driver side didn’t even stay up. It fell down multiple times. Breaking was also nerve wracking as every time I did the vehicle shook a lot. I decided to only do one thing and take it back so I didn’t even finish everything I needed to.

Hazel RJust had issues with truck pickup. Didn’t know I had to use truck share and I had a 7 am pickup and they confirmed on the phone with me. I show up that morning and no one was there and they didn’t open till 10 and the manager didn’t pick up when I called. I was disappointed that uhaul didn’t offer to discount my hitch after the whole 2 day ordeal. I was very reasonable but you all didn’t offer any discount on my order. I hope you all reach out to refund a bit of my order out of good will since you all messed me up
Narendrakumar PTruck's interior wasn't cleaned. The gas stated to be in truck was 3/8 but was 1/4. The mileage was not correct either being 2 miles under than listed. I tried to return the truck via app but the location service was working so therefore I couldn't do it myself causing an extra $20 fee for them to return it. Bad business. I had to sign the rental agreement before seeing the truck. 😒
PORSHA WVehicle was clean , but needed traction control and stabilitrak serviced,( warning notifications were on when vehicle was running) also A/C needs service (selector buttons and knobs not working correctly)

KEVIN CLocation did not have a utility dolly like we needed that would have helped us a lot with moving. It was a smaller location but I’ve always used uhual for moving and every location has had the dolly either in the truck or extras in the store.
