Their address is not at all visually correct. At 605 N. Hickory there is no sign (“UHaul”) or indication of any business other than a Dollar General. The office is probably at least 200 yds from Hickory. With perseverance, I turned on Miracle Lane, which intersects with Hickory, to begin the hunt.

Explain the pick up process better. We stood at the truck for 45 minutes answering questions and taking pictures before we could get in the truck. Seems like there should be an easier way.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST UHAUL EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! The app crashed, the customer service in the office was miserable at best. Every time I asked a question the gentleman just huffed at me and acted like I was just interrupting his day. THE TRUCK ONLY HAD 3/4 OF A TANK. YET I WAS REQUIRED TO RETURN IT WITH A FULL TANK. I'll be honest UHAUL - unless you make this right - I will never use your services again - and neither will be businesses, family, or friends.

tried to rent a Uhaul in Mishawaka and they wanted us to go to Laporte to pickup, doesnt make sense, more miles and fuel that we would have paid for.

Zdont use the uhaul pick up place I. Elkhart, Indiana. It was horrible. The South Bend facility was wonderful.

The van was locked so we couldn't get our keys... so maybe make sure that if you have a van reserved for self checkout, it's properly prepared?

The truck was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. When I returned it the questionnaire asked if the truck was clean and I attempted to say no and that incurred a 25$ cleaning fee so I said yes with no option to explain why. I have rented before from U-Haul and this is my worst experience. I also had to wait for “Approval” for 20 minutes before I could leave ...

I could not log on to the website for the after hours return. I was on hold for customer service for 30MINUTES. When I finally got some woman she did NOTHING TO HELP ME. After being on hold for 30 minutes she just transferred me to someone else where I again was put on hold. I finally hung up in frustration and after sitting in the parking lot for 45 minutes for NOTHING!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!

No complaints here! This place seems clean and responsible. I've never had an issue with this location and I've used it 2-3 times. I've never NOT had issues at the 2 other Uhauls I've used. :-)

Leon & Veronica (if that's her real name) were racist and lied to me. I asked to see the policy stating that they don't drive the car off the ramp and she got upset. She lied saying I verbally abused her and called the police thinking her lie would hold up. God always protects His children. Leon isn't like her, he was only behaving that way because of her. I prayed for them both. Leon on talked to me over the phone. I will continue to pray for them I see why God brought me to this city. Be blessed

I did not like how you had to pay for an entire extra day if you needed to extend your rental. The price for 2 more hours was the same as an entire day. Frustrating.

I was overcharged for the mileage. Owner was argued about the odometer reading and I only drove from South Bend Indiana to Sawyer Michigan . There is no way I drove 104 miles. The worst customer service ever

I liked that the employees were friendly and knowledgeable... willing to work with me on exchanging vehicles, etc. I had been going to another location and the employees are very slow, and seem hassled all the time, these employees were great!

First the staff member was really rude. i had a intermittent mechanical/hidraulic issue with the truck, and the staff member wasn't caring about it. Last, i supposedly received the truck with the full gas tank, but when i filled the tank to return the truck, i've put a bit over 7 gallons, and i drove 7,43 miles. Once again, the staff member wasn't worried when i mentioned and showed the receipt.

The return instructions were confusing. The instructions at the beginning, middle and end didnt agree. One spot said return on north side near office, then at the end it said east side of lot near dollar general. Also at the beginning it said do not lock and at the end it said to lock vehicle. Very confusing.
