I was supposed to pick up in Coventry. I was FORCED to go to North Kingstown because a truck was NOT available in Coventry, EVEN though I reserved one for Coventry. Then I was asked to return it to East Providence because someone reserved a truck for the following day there... so wtf, I reserved in Coventry, and they could not have truck returned THERE for me, since I was doing the same for East Providence...

DANA PWhat is the point of a reservation if you do not reserve a trailer. Telling someone the day before they move that the trailer they reserved almost a month before is not available at the location selected and they must drive an hour away to get it is totally unsatisfactory. No one has time to drive 2 hours to get something that should have been reserved the whole time, especially when they are in the middle of moving! For the record I am speaking about 111 JT Connell Hwy, Newport, RI 02840 which is where I had a reservation for a small trailer. I ended up driving to 3530 Quaker Ln North Kingstown, RI 02852 to get a medium sized trailer and the guy there was great. If Uhaul wasn’t so convenient, I wouldn’t use you again.

JAMES RTruck was dirty . Had mud on passenger side and on the floor inside cab. Truck also had some questionable paint and body work . It had a large rust spots on the hood and roof of cab. Also paint had been painted on with a roller or brush.

MARK PTruck just got back from maintenance but the rubber gasket around driver side windshield was pulled away. That made it pretty noisy while driving. Other than that, this location is great. They use to have two 10 footers but now only have one. Please bring back two. I rent there a lot and only have a 50/50 chance of getting the 10 footer.

ANTHONY DTruck was terrible, bad brakes and I was caught in traffic on 95 and had to crawl for miles w/ squealing badly every time I tapped the brakes. W/ over a hundred thousand miles u would think someone would check the brakes ! Not happy !

EDWARD DI rented the same 5x8 cargo trailer in the spring since same license plate number and the running lights did not work then and I mention it to the person that works at the Uhaul place and they said it just the trailer running lights don't work but the turn signals and brake lights do work. They said after I dropped it off they work have it fixed. I rented the same trailer 5 months later and still broken. I advise Uhaul should make sure the equipment is functional. I paid for all functional lights to work on the trailers. I expect better service.

Joseph ZThe CLOCK in the truck was wrong. I don't understand why it didn't update to the correct time---it's all electronic! So I was very tired in the evening and I thought it was an hour earlier, but the clock was set an hour early. This is a great service and the truck drove very well and had plenty of space for all my stuff.
R SThe "Return Mileage" was incorrect on my emailed receipt. The ending mileage was 3073, not 3093. I will never use U-Haul again.
