Such a small operation. U-Haul was packed in so tightly it was extremely difficult to navigate from its parking location to exit the property
ROBERT WI appreciate the rental and the fact that the staff member backed up & then later pulled in the truck. The space to maneuver, though, was very tight. My rental was in the middle of two other trucks, & the space to back up was not enough for my truck to back up without risking hitting the other trucks. It seemed as if I was expected to maneuver the truck in an impossible space. Luckily, the attendant moved one of the trucks out of the way after I asked for his help. U-Haul’s mobile check-in process was a bit ridiculous, too. First, there’s so much that could’ve been done before arriving at the location such as uploading driver’s license photos. However, the app wouldn’t let me do any of that until I was at the pick-up location. Also, the check-in process via the app is a bit ridiculous. I wasn’t entirely sure why I needed to provide 2 contacts of reference, my employer information, & my passport information. (Note: these are also things that could’ve been done ahead of time.). Eventually, I just went into the location & checked out the truck with the help of the attendant because I didn’t want to, have the time to, or felt comfortable providing all of that information. However, the U-Haul process served its purpose, and for that, I am thankful.
Rachel WWhen returning the truck I gave the keys back to the clerk and he advised he would check the truck in for me that I was good to go. About an hour later I received the invoice and he said I put 177 miles on the truck. That is not true, total miles was about 20. I called U-Haul and they said I needed to go back to the rental location that they couldn’t help me. I went back and they were closed. I was robbed about $120. I’m moving, I don’t have time to be dealing with this.

Jaykumar PThe truck was pretty rough around the edges and the owner added furniture pads and a dolly to my order. I didn't want them and didn't get them. Afterwards he blamed me and said that I had selected them, even though I had pictures of my screen at purchase and the original reservation print out showing I didn't select them. The location was a pretty shady gas station with no prices on anything and they seemed surprised when I came in and said I had a rental. I had to show them my print out because it was like they didn't believe me. The whole operation didn't seem like UHaul's best. I probably would drive further to go to a different location if I rented again. I had to call customer service to get the money refund for the purchase I didn't make. The phone customer service representative was very good.
EVAN RThe connection at this location is extremely slow. I had to drive around multiple times and park up the street to start the rental process. All was told not to finish the rental on my phone that he would take care of it. Was able to submit the photos just thought it was weird because that is how I know what I’m being charged and can charge the card.
HALEY WThe only issue at this location is the employee spoke very little English and therefore spent a lot of time on the phone with a represeentative who seemed to need all the information I already gave. But he was pleasant and patient.
